Air suspension

Air suspension is a new suspension technology, that weighs less, runs cooler and is more sensitive. This provides much more safety, comfort and control. The air suspension is easily tuneable according to the terrain.

We have introduced the air suspension as an improvement to the HPV, which is meant to be driven in off-road conditions. The air suspension is the most vital part in our HPV, because the air suspension helps to keep the wheel on the ground at all times, which gives more traction, stability and control. All these factors contribute to speed as well. The more the wheel stay on the ground the safer of the rider and the HPV.

The air suspension Also absorve double the impact compare to the normal suspension, and this helps in protecting all the chases and all the part of the HPV, this also comforts and protects the rider. Given that, the air suspension is lighter, it will reduce the load on the rider and chases. Although, the air suspension is new technology, it is much simpler to install and adjust, unlike other suspension, when installing the air suspension to a new body, no modification is required, it is just bolted on.

4 Wheels

As an important improvement for the HPV we have made it four wheels. This is for more stability and safety (in terms of rolling resistance). The four tyres make it harder to roll due to evenly distributed weight and lower centre of gravity, this provides more safety.

The fact that the HPV will be ridden on off-road mountain situation, the four wheel provides more control and endurance. The four wheels also allow the rider to push the HPV to the limit, making most of off-roading.

Lock differential technology

A lock differential is also one of the major improvement made to the HPV. A lock differential provides equal distribution of torque, more traction and less load application by the rider (this acts as a mechanical advantage which multiply the load which the rider applies to the pedals, allowance the HPV to be ridden easily without applying a lot of force).

In this scenarios the other end of the sprocket which acts as a pinion powering the two crown wheels. The technology of the lock differential allows more off-roading, this is because it locks both wheels on an axle together as if on a common shaft while still allowing them to rotate at different speeds when it is required (such as when negotiating a turn), this forces both wheels to turn in unison, regardless of the traction. A locking differential has a capability of delivering 100% of available power, to the wheel with most traction, and providing maximum speed throughout in any gear.

T45 material (High Tensile Carbon Manganese)

The tensile strength of the T45 is 700 N⁄'〖'mm'〗'^2  two third higher than normal aluminium or cold drawn seamless carbon steel(CDS). The T45 is very light and very strong giving it a very high strength to weight ratio. This ensures higher standards of safety for both the HPV and the rider. Despite safety, the light weight also encourages higher speeds as the load is hugely reduced.

Proper buggy steering unit

In our HPV, we are introducing the Saginaw steering box, this is based especially for front wheel drive off-roading vehicles. It provides more control and manoeuvrability in off-road situations. The whole setup is also lightweight and consists of basic steering components, and is easy to install.

Dynamo

A dynamo is also one of the major improvements we have made. A dynamo is a device that generates electricity upon rotation of a rotor. In this situation the dynamo will be connected to the drive shaft.

Motor

We have the motor to power the HPV when the rider is tired. The power will be fully human powered as the battery powering the motor is being charged by the dynamo. The motor will be 24 volts.

Battery and Inverter

These two are part of the improvement that will power the motor. The battery will be powered by the dynamo. Two small anti-gravity Ag401 batteries will be used.

Adjustable bucket seat

The bucket seat is a strong, light weight and comfortable seat. The seat usually provides maximum safety by covering most parts of the body. According to whether the rider is short or tall, the seat can be adjusted to a particular degree and both forward and backward. There will be a 5 points seat belt as used in motor sports for maximum safety.

Front wheel drive

Front wheel drive system is basically a system that powers the front two wheels. In this scenario there is more space efficiency since the whole powertrain unit is combined together. Front wheel drive has a higher directional stability; hence it stays straight at higher speeds. There is also minimal loss of power applied when using front wheel drive, due to no use of long, heavy drive shaft. The front wheel drive can generate extra traction and surer steering.  

The power steering works with the front wheel drive eliminated torque steering, when the torque of the vehicle, steers the car (unwanted steering).

More and thicker end spokes on rims

More spokes with thicker ends have been implied, these make the wheels stronger.

Side steering levers

We have used side steering levers instead of a steering wheel. This is easy approach and manoeuvrability for the rider. The rider also gets more control.

ABS (Anti-lock braking system)

LED lights

LED lights have been installed because of better visibility during night driving.
