Recommendation and Conclusion:
Pakistan is a developing country and is rich in natural and historical beauty. It is amongst one of the beautiful countries of the world. Pakistan has a very enchanting culture especially in the northern areas that makes it attractive tourist spot.
Increase in tourism will benefit Pakistan is many ways. Tourists spend a lot of money for leisure which allows tourism to continue. Pakistan generates its revenues from tourism which is used to promote more tourism and for the development of infrastructure. It also increases employment opportunities and popularity.
The main hindrance to tourism in Pakistan is the poor infrastructure. Inflation is also decreasing tourism in Pakistan as the prices of food, hotels, services, etc. have increased. It discourages the other tourists too.
Moreover, tourist attractions have been destroyed by earthquakes and floods and they are not protected by the government, which gives tourism industry low priority. Terrorist attacks and bomb blasts threats have declined the reputation of Pakistan which has resulted in a decrease in tourism.
To increase tourism and reap its benefits, publicity of beautiful places should be done through advertisements, newspapers, and channels to promote tourism. Cleanliness is also important. New hotels and restaurants should be opened.
Every year the number of tourists is decreasing because of terrorism and infrastructure issues. Government of Pakistan should take steps to retain the country's beauty, improve the tourist attractions and build good relations with foreign countries. Government should also provide better security, improve law and order situation in the country and build infrastructure. Tourism will increase when the facilities and management will be provided. It should arrange festivals to attract tourists as Pakistan has diverse culture. Price instability should also be controlled.
