Coach Carter is an excellent movie that describes no matter what others state, one must believe in themselves and most importantly, one\'s development of progress towards greatness.  Taking place in Richmond, where the community assumed that black teens were either regarded to be fit for jail or basketball. The city of Richmond is not secure for any teenagers. It is a home of lawlessness and a central drug lord cartel. Coach Carter states that there are more opportunities of being sent to prison than beginning a worthy life. By influencing the players, Coach Carter converts the boys into confident and assertive men who accomplish fabulous events with their lives.

Everything starts with respect combines both the respect for oneself and others. The players were demanded to value one another as a “sir “. This represented respect among the players and the coach as well as respect between peers. Originally, they were uncomfortable with it, but over time it became customary. The value of learning is one of the central issues in this film. Coach Carter even closed down the gym because his players were not meeting the learning criteria that they established at the beginning of the season. Coach Carter knows that the possibility of any of his players moving on to hold a profession as a professional basketball player is extremely narrow. For that purpose, he urges them to concentrate on their studies to enhance their status of living conditions. If one fails to plan, one plans to fail. This is valid as far as self-mastery is involved. It requires placing out goals, then acting involvedly in accomplish them. Aside from severe practices the players were listed to experience, Coach Carter wanted them to have a purpose. This was to be certain they not only aim to shine in basketball but also educationally.

There are many opportunities one will have to abandon to be able to correctly accomplish set objectives. When players decline to accept the terms on their contracts, Coach Carter springs into action. Coach Carter orders them to reach the minimal requirement. The gym was closed and training delayed. Although the training is the solution to be victorious in basketball, Coach Carter recognized the necessity to cut that until the scholarly criteria were achieved. It demands determination to walk on the opposing path. Nonetheless, for one to completely master oneself, they will have to oppose what others assume, their methods, and general views. Residents of Richmond assumed that the high school boys were only intended to play basketball. But, Coach Carter perceived a prospect that nobody else noticed. He did not go with the community, a time even began when Coach Carter had to endure the court. Eventually, everybody understood he was correct, some will not understand the significance of other\'s goals until they reach it.

Before beginning a course of mastering oneself, one must kill the former methods, the former customs and all distractors upon the path. Exactly like the style a chameleon explodes to raise a fresh newborn. The process flower roots die to open life to a fresh seed. Mr. Cruz stated that he killed himself to get back to the team. Coach Carter even had a gun and his companion was shot dead. When he gave up his former ways a new life started. He became something exceptional. Later he graduates with a marketing diploma, a reality that would have been improbable had he not died first. When most people succeed in life, accomplishments appear to get to their heads. They rejoice and at times generate self-esteem. There is always a room for advancement, the players appeared overly positive, having won several games. They get excited and the way they spoke was proof of an increase in pride. One should rejoice for a short time then plan for the next events in life.

One must identify their deepest fear, this is the description of the foremost circumstances that restricts one from taking large paces towards the life one envision. It is generally assumed that people\'s deepest fears are not their incompetence but the fact that they are strong beyond capacity. Once the things that prevent one from moving towards their dreams are known. It will be simple to master them. Coach Carter regularly questioned Mr. Cruz what his darkest fear is. The players did not become winners in the season as anticipated by the community they lived in and the school organization. However, they devoted that bit for the benefit of a further worthy opportunity. Actually, they had ensured a great future. In life, one will be inclined to determine what progress indicates and fight towards the final goal. That is a true success. Coach Carter realizes that there are numerous significant matters in life than winning basketball tournaments. After failing their last match, Coach Carter lets his players recognize how satisfied he is with them notwithstanding their final failure of the basketball game.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frighten us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone. And as we let our lights shine, we unconsciously give others.”
