Developing a machine that helps pets remain healthy for Autopet is one of my endeavors. A machine rewarding the pet after a certain number of calories burned or a certain time spent on the machine is my goal. Healthy pets can have a positive impact on human life. Moreover, health is important to the life of any living creature; thus, by maintaining healthy pets helps living creatures live longer. My idea is unique as many companies do not have machines rewarding pets automatically for exercising. My marketing strategy is to use the marketing mix to create a unique selling proposition (USP). One of the greatest advantages of my product is that the pet can exercise indoors. My product will have a positive change in the environment it is sold at.
Pet diseases with human health implications can adversely impact public health. Pet health affects food safety and food safety affects public health. Healthy pets are more likely to result in safer food supplies, reduced environmental impacts, reduced use of antibiotics, and improved pet well-being. Moreover, pets that don't get enough exercise can become overweight. Overweight pets can develop serious health problems just like we can.
The “Pet Fitness Stop,” is my product that will reduce pet health problems. My product will motivate pets to exercise by automatically rewarding them. The product will measure the number of calories burnt while exercising. Then the product will automatically reward pets once they have reached a certain level. The pet can be on the machine and as soon as some muscles in the pet are activated, the machine will measure how many calories are being burnt. Pet parents must continue to replace new food in the machine once the previous food is finished.
Companies do not seem to have machines automatically rewarding pets with food for exercising. My product is unique because I will add an extra features such as a marker that competitors do not have. I will combine the product with food specifically for your pet. My product will be fun and entertaining. Pet parents can have their pet to test the product before the product is bought. Moreover, the product will come in a variety of sizes. Every customer wants a product tailored specifically for them; thus, pet parents can personalize the design of the product. Pet parents need my product because it will improve the pet's well-being and their surrounding environment. My machine is unique and there are few exercising machines rewarding pets for exercising like mine. Consequently, my great marketing strategy will set my product apart from competitors.
The marketing mix is my strategy to attain a unique selling proposition (USP). A high-quality product with excellent features and designs along with an affordable price will attract the customer. I will have several distribution channels and will begin locally. I will promote by using slogans, advertising, sponsorship, endorsements, and a strong brand image.
My marketing efforts will use psychographic segmentation. The method uses people's lifestyle, their activities, interests as well as opinions. I will be targeting social class and personality. I will start selling the product locally then advance regionally. Moreover, the product could be sold internationally as the product becomes popular. My retail strategy will be to utilize in-person sales and e-commerce as both come with many advantages.
One of the greatest advantages of my product is that the pet can exercise indoors. Most pets have plenty of furs that keeps them warm. In the heat of the day, exercise can put a strain on pets since they usually cannot eliminate excess heat as easily as humans can. Furthermore, before pet parents start their pet on my product, they should talk with their veterinarian first (this important information will be mentioned on the package and instructions). Pet parents should schedule a checkup for their pet and ask their veterinarian how much and what type of exercise their pet needs. Finally, pet parents should make sure their pet has plenty of water before, during, and after exercising.
