INTRODUCTION

    Management process is activities of Planning and Monitoring the performance.   Especially in the business process, mix up with reengineering. Process Management is wisdom of knowledge, Skills, tools, and system to define Process with new goal to meet customer requirement profitably. It is different from program but program management is concerned with managing a group of inter-dependent project.

    “When system following the process. It is actually running and doing some work. However it will not always stay in that one process. If system does or the system is not ready or just slow the system will become blocked and be unable to do any more process until the is complete”

DEFITINION OF MANAGEMENT:   

     Management is a distinct consisting of activities of planning, organizing, actuating and controlling performance to determine and accomplish stated objective with use of human being and other resources.

DEFITINION OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT:

    Business Management is the process of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling an organization human, financial, physical and information resources to achieve organizational goals in an efficient manner.

FUNCTION OF MANAGEMENT: -

  Management is working on various functions, classified as (i) Planning, (ii) Organization, (iii) Controlling, (iv) Coordinating, (v) Motivating, (vii) Staffing.

• Planning - Deciding and generating plans for action (Like for day, week, year,)

• Organization – Distribution of work in group or section for effective performance with use of best resource and require to successful carrying out of plans.

• Controlling – Monitoring checking progress against plans, which may need modification based on feedback.

• Coordinating – All the activities are divided group and section wise under the organizing function.

• Motivating - Motivating skill in these areas for  getting others to play an effective part in achieving plans.

   Management is best method of factor of production to use resources for the best level.

    Management thinker has different view to classification of function. They add some few functions and remove some other function.  But some function is most important in management. Because some function is necessary for management without it management does not work properly these are basic need for management.

   Land, capital worker are three most important factors in management.

Land      customer satisfaction    Worker  Planning + organization + staffing + motivation +   to full fill the social       Capital   direction + Reporting +Innovation + Coordinating  needs & govt needs

1.  Planning –   Planning is one process of look ahead. In business world planning is first basic function of management. Planning is what will be done in the future. Without   planning cant performed well or nothing can be performed. Planning is effort of individual or group  determining  before any processing action take place what shall be done where how & who shall do it.

    If Organization needs best performance or they need short and long time future objectives and tactical & strategic plans to achieve those objectives. They need specific plans location operation time they have to put too much effort for long term future plans.

Planning is help us to achieve our establish goal in future. Visualization + action + location + worker + specific time then after develop one plan then after organization work on it and achieve goal.

2. Organization -- organization need effective performance. organizing is the distribution of work in group or section wise. It is a process of execution of plan. Organization has   responsibility to create some more department for different manager, Organization give them different position for different department in the organization.

According to Henry Fayol organization have two kind of department. Organization of Human Factor  and organization of material factor. Organization of  human  factor distribution work, authority and responsibility and organization of material is cover utilization of  raw, plant and machinery etc.

   A set of formal tasks assigned to individuals and department, the design of system to ensure effective co ordination of employees across department.   Organizing is fallowing one or more rules. It can be seen as the opposite of messing up. The different between ordered and organized is that something is only ordered as long as it is both organized standardized.

Organization  have  big responsibility in two sector  (I)Human organization sector, (II)Material sector. In human organization each person has different position and different responsibility.  And material sector cover utilization of raw material, organized the  plant and machinery well. Human Organization following  the one plan and they have to submit report to managers. This is provided by  managers would determines who should report whom and where.

3. Staffing ¬¬¬– Staffing  function is activities of selection and placement of competent  personnel. Staffing refers to placement of right person in the right jobs.     Includes selection of right person, gives training to those needy persons. Gives promotion for best person ,  gives retirement for old person. Staffing is one process which is well organized by Human development department but  it's also  part of management process because in management process also define the staffing function as part of management.

    In short staffing is finding the right people with right skill abilities and fit. A staffing company offers different types of  services including some help and permanent placement, temporary  to permanent placement, long term, contract and professional employer consulting organization in which a staffing firm assumes responsibility for payroll and other human resource function.

4. Directing – The directing planning staffing function are concerned with basic work for the achievement of goal and direction work with workers learn techniques to perform the work assigned to them. Directing is guidance supervision and motivation of employees. In simple words to give direction to achievement of goal. Directing is basic function for every function because every function on one direction for work means in which direction they have to do work. Direction is most important function for organization.

5. Coordinating. -- Its process of sycronising the group efforts to achieve goals of an organization coordinating size depend on an organization size.

According to KNOOTZ and O`DONNELL the last coordination occurs when individuals see how their jobs contribute to the dominating goals of the enterprise. This implies knowledge and understanding of enterprise objective.

6. Motivating. -- Motivation helps to achieve a goal and also help to increasing the speed of performance of a work and developing willingness on worker motivating is process of inspiring the personal to do something. Motivating is help to achieve the best results in organization

7. Controlling. -- Controlling is monitoring and checking progress against plans.   A good system of control has the characteristics of economy flexibility understanding and  adequacy to organizational needs. Proper process is being made towards the objectives and goals and action is necessary to correct and deviation.

Controlling is process of comparison of standard and actual and to take corrective action for deviations.

 IMPORTANCE OF MANAGEMENT  

Management is a basement for every enterprise. Right direction is most importance in business. Management gives best right direction.

Management faced too much problems & challenge for achieve goals and change.

These are the some important part for management.

1. Take challenge for change.

2. Departmentally group goals.

3. Effective utilization.

4. Effective function.

5. Development of resource.

6. Good organization structure.

7. Various interests.

8. Innovation.

9. Personality development for tool.

Management is most important in business in international business world. There are too many changes and that changes are very dangerous position then well management can save the business from dangers.

In business success depend on three factor s, good future planning .nice business environment. Quality of decision taken and control, it's responsible for achieving objective.

“Management is real tool for use of man, capital and equipments, and motivation.”

The well organized management is the development business in any field .Management function is directs and controls the organization.

“Management is soul of the organization”

Here mention some other types of management. And every field has different process but management process is same in every field.

Management is most important in any kind of business and in real life. Management starts from self management to organization management industry, company, government.

Management improves team performance also management improves the organization performance as well as management developing the business by well management.

 Level of management :--  

      Here three types of management. Like every stage have   different types of management like upper level management there is only board directors and CEO, MD. In upper level management take some important decision. They give order / decision to middle level management. Then middle level management is following the decision/ order. Middle level management is only including the managers and some H.O.D. Last level of management is lower level of management they are also following the order of those managers order which is given by top level of management.

The chairman, directors, and organization chief executive officer are including in top level management.

All managers are in middle level of management like finance, production, sales, marketing, and publicity these all are in middle level management

All supervisor foreman and technician are in lover level management.

Principles of Management:-

These are the Principle of management   

1. Work division: -   Work division makes person specialist. Main reason of division is help us to specialize in an activity increase the more output with good perfection. Work division is applied to both technical and managerial work.     2. Responsibility and authority: -   In organization every person have own responsibility. Manager gives some order to his sub ordinates to do work. Then Manager may exercise his authority. Responsibility is essential to perform a job correctly.    3. Discipline: -   Discipline is most important in any field. Because if you have self discipline than you growing yourself and your discipline can help you for create your respect front of others. Discipline is necessary in all level of management people.     4. Unity of command: - Subordinate has only one superior. If not so, the subordinate does not perform any job perfectly. In simple words, each subordinate is responsible to only one superior.         5. Order: - The management is strictly following the principle for everything and everyone.   Order is applied for both man and material. The material should be kept in order in the place its necessary. And staff is selected by rules and regulation. Gives position according to their qualification and ability.       6. Equity: - Equity is combination of fairness, kindness and justice. Management is treating all the employees of organization equally. The application of equity is require   goodness, experience, loyalty and devotion from managers.  

 Management as an Art and Profession:-

 Sometimes thinker are taking like as art because when you feel it's art for me then  it's too  easy and  achieve more and more goal  in your own field.   Here we are taking management as art because sometimes our art is our passion and  passion can do something extra in our own field. In the art person have own feeling for personal touch different artist produce different art. Some people have management skill. Management person has his own art how to do managing thing and organization based on his own education and experience. Every person has different way to achieving same goal. Artists perfect on their art by lot of practice and hard work. They are mature over many years of constant hard work. They learn from lot of mistake like managers are born not made. They know what they have to do in his field. Artists know how to tackle difficulty with his confidence. Artist skill can develop by through training.    As professionally train and educated people qualified for manager. They have potential to take responsibility and give a good result for his organization we have to see how exactly they doing his work and they are using his own skill in management. As art or profession both are similar but art by heart and profession by well training and good education.
