Strategic Planning:
Develop and execute long range HR strategic plans for the company. Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.

Serve as a participant on the executive management team, which drives total end to end business success.
Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Resource Management, HR leadership, organization effectiveness, organization architecture, building organizational capability, and human capital processes, to enable the sustainable achievement of business goals.
Formulate strategic partnerships that deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the company.
Work closely with management and employees, to build a positive culture, ensure employee engagement and increased productivity and retention.
Ensure requisite labour compliance and overall HR governance.
Serve as overall guide and coach to members of the Leadership team, in matters relating to the management of human capital at Magnate Ventures Limited.
HR Strategy & Policy Implementation:
Formulate comprehensive Human Capital Strategic Plans, and lead the implementation and customization requirements, to ensure the company’s human capital needs are met.
Develop strategic workforce demand and supply plans that ensure a continuous supply of a high quality workforce, including succession plans for all business critical positions.
Develop workforce metrics, monitor and report on these, to the leadership, for necessary actions and decisions.
Provide policy guidance and interpretation, across all employee cadres, and in this regard, identify areas for policy improvement, in consultation with the HR team for amendments.
Development , Performance and Change Management:
Ensure that the necessary performance management policies, systems and processes are availed and implemented across all employee populations.
Support the senior leadership team and other employees with their development ,working closely with the CEO to ensure that they receive the right coaching and development to be effective and maximize their potential
Lead the identification of talent and high potential leaders and succession plans for the business
Develop an organization climate that encourages high performance and differentiates reward based on the delivery and achievement of business targets including delivering a great customer experience.
Formulate personnel systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals and ensure effective management of any changes to processes & systems
Work with the CEO to drive organizational changes to ensure a cohesive and high performing leadership team and optimal organization structure
Industrial Relations:
Maintain in-depth knowledge of labour laws and other legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations, whenever issues arise.
Counsel and advise managers of appropriate interventions, address employee relations' issues (e.g., performance improvement processes) and monitor progress.
Serve as a link between management and employees, by handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
Compensation & Benefits:
Support the design & implementation of a competitive total reward management approach that engages and rewards employees.
People Management:
Develop the company’s people practices, policies and processes to ensure that they build high employee engagement and loyalty in the organization and increase the employee engagement index in line with identified targets
Oversee the attracting, recruiting, deployment and retention of “A” players for the department
Monitor the performance of all team members and support managers in providing on-going feedback
Maintain an employee value proposition that engages employees to deliver their best
Budget Management:
Plan, develop & manage the HR budget for the company.
Initiate and Report on all related metrics.
Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the Company’s financial position, to enable HR support and delivery of services
