There are several functions of management that a business needs to follow. A great management in business consists of planning, organizing, leading, and controlling. These functions ensure that the goals of the organization can be achieved. Planning is the first function, which the management establish plans, creates policies, predicts and calculates for the future the reach the desired goals. Planning is the process of setting the performance to be achieved and determining the activities to be achieved. During planning, the manager determines what results are expected from the workflows and assigns tools to achieve that goal. The second step is organizing, where the business actually needs to create a plan for the aforementioned goals. In this step, the right direction has to be provided for the workers, and the works have to be assigned. The process of organizing involves defining specific tasks, assigning executives, assigning resources, and coordinating the activities of groups and individuals. During the organization, the managers prepare the agreed plans for implementation: identify the tasks to be done and create the necessary technological background, human and other resources. The next function is leading. This step is extremely important to have an efficient business. Managers need to concentrate on the employees and has to keep an interpersonal level by communicating and motivating them. If the workers feel unsatisfied with their work, or uncommitted, they will leave the company, so it an important function to keep in mind. During leading, managers are working to subordinate employees to the organization and encourage them to do the best job to achieve their goals. Lastly, in controlling, the managers have to follow 3 steps. The controlling is the process of measuring performance, comparing targets and results, and taking appropriate corrective steps. During the controlling, the managers are actively involved with the employees who work for them, they receive, prepare and pass on their performance reports, and then contribute the information they have to design the necessary changes.
Offshore outsourcing means that projects (typically bigger ones) are entrusted to a cheaper company in a remote country. The most popular of these are China, India, and Malaysia. This type of problem may have a problem that there is no common language and time zone, but most of them choose this design when opting for outsourcing, as developers working in these countries typically work at a much lower hourly rate than they are within the country. Especially American companies choose to outsource because they would not be able to do the same cost of development work within the US at the same expense. Furthermore, outsourcing means outsourcing former work within the company with external forces, ie outsourcing processes/services provided by the company to an outsourcer. Outsourcing is not a recent thing. Even ancient Romans have “outsourced” tax collection. The collection of public utility fees is entrusted to external companies in most countries. Outsourcing was created because companies realized that more employees did not mean a greater competitive advantage. Every corporate strategy has its advantages and risks. The main drivers of outsourcing to developing countries are cheap wages, reducing production costs to boost leverage and innovation. With outsourcing, special expertise can be obtained, world-class global capacities can be acquired, which is increasingly needed during corporate acquisitions and mergers. Firms with outsourcing are devoted to outsourcing their money and labor capital but do not outsource them, thus focusing their financial and intellectual resources on leadership, innovation, new product, and service design and implementation. Outsourcing and offshoring functions take place under the planning and controlling function. The planning guarantees which occupations should be outsourced or delivered to the organization. Likewise, an appropriate foreign entity is recognized to disperse the procedure. The controlling guarantees that work are delivered as per the quality measures.
