Group work is a typical way that people function in the present business environment. Any management team who works with or oversees groups have to be familiar with how they develop after some time. This has been proven to be the best-known plan for a group improvement, and was progressed by Bruce Tuckman. At first, Tuckman recognized four phases of how groups advance, which incorporated the phases of forming, storming, norming and performing. A fifth stage was later included by Tuckman around ten years after the fact, which is called adjourning.
The first stage of group development is the forming stage. This stage shows a period where the gathering is simply beginning to meet up and is depicted with tension and anxiety among the members. The last stage is the adjourning stage.
