Goals that’ll come after MBA
The several and varied career prospects available to the MBA graduate has largely made me to apply for this program in as a move in attaining my future career goals in management field. This is a professional degree which will enrich my management capacity in the field of management and business, an aspect I greatly aspire. Nevertheless, I know this degree is not only designed for people who have a background in business but it is intended for diverse groups of people who want to achieve topnotch management skills due to the brainstorming learning and discussion topics which students are subjected to (Bruner 2003).
Another important goal associated with my MBA option, which has also largely made me wish to apply for the program, is its popularity in the market place and diverse contacts with potential employers. This graduate degree is easily recognizable by the employers due to academic value associated with MBA’s course projects. I have also realized that there are several prospects available to an MBA Graduate. Of prime importance is the opportunity for career switch perhaps after attaining MBA. This goal is easily attained by considering various management option presented by the MBA module (Bruner, 2003). I have also come to realize that the MBA will indeed has a return on investment as my earning power from the current employer will indeed increase due to the expertise which I will bring into the business.
My main objective in undertaking the Katz MBA is to advance my career in Management. I have been involved in managing business ventures in the recent past through the undergraduate skills acquired earlier. I just realized that I need to advance this expertise with a katz MBA degree since I will enhance my managerial critical skills. After undergoing the rigorous learning and interaction with the institutions tutors I believe that my ability to critically analyze situations and business decisions will be greatly enhanced. The varied courses offered in the program will enable me to improve on my decision making skills thereby placing me in a better situation to address business practices. The personal Development course which is offered in the program will arm me with vital skills in time management, assertiveness as well as the persuading and influencing skills which are vital for any person involved in management roles as this will greatly determine how people will take or respond to the decisions made (Bruner 2003).
Based on the earlier experience, I have realized that a good manager should be emotionally intelligent so as to effectively cater for the employees’ complaints and undertake sound decisions. This I hope to improve on when I complete my Pitz MBA. This is beneficial to me as I will greatly impact on the client roles in organization’s competitive edge. I believe that I will further impact on the managerial roles as well based on the both the core and elective subjects offered. I also have zeal to develop an international platform for my career in Management thereby presenting me with an opportunity to handle international managerial assignments. This paradigm shift in my career advancement will be highly motivated by the strategic focus and thinking advanced when I undertake the Pitz MBA. Since there are career advisors present in the institution, I believe that they will be in a position to provide professional advice as well as guidance on the various international firms and bodies which may be valuable inputting my acquired managerial in actual test.

Liaising with potential management graduates employers is a vital goal normally associated with Katz MBA graduates. Here I will attain my goal of relating with international firms perhaps in giving valuable consultation services. As an MBA holder I will richly benefit from the optional internships program offered by the Katz institution during the two year MBA program, offering quality time to interact with business leaders. This unique experience in the job market and more specifically in the management segment is vital in enhancing competitive advantage via experiences on what I am best suited in.
Finally, I believe that due to the personal tutoring offered by the institution’s lecturers as well as the use of the latest technology in course administering, I will gain invariable knowledge and expertise which is relevant to management field. This will enable me attain the key goal associated MBA in confronting realities as well as the concerns which exists in the current market. Pursuing the Katz MBA will not only be an investment on my career prospects and an enhancement strategy alone, but also an investment on my personal attributes which will greatly impact on career avenues by presenting wider scope of management studies. A change will obviously be recorded on my general applicability of issues which may confront me. According to Bruner (2003), this is pegged on the relevance of the course in the competitive business world and increased responsibility that comes with MBA course. Key responsibility roles in any organization as well as open opportunity in advancing to PHD level are just but a few goals associated with modern MBA modules. Similarly, other goals may involve putting into practice the learnt skills, training others and constantly giving my contributions on modern managerial dissertations in relation to my MBA option.
