How do you learn and how this will impact on your studies in this University?
For the duration of my UG course in University, I have been conducted a ‘Learning Test’ so as to analyze my factual learning approach. There are four different learning styles which are:
(a) Activists – they learn by active participation in real issues.
(b) Reflectors – they learn top by review upon what has occurred in particular circumstances, pay attention and monitor.
(c) In the case of Theorists they learn best when latest knowledge would be placed inside the frame of theories. Theorists are reserved from actual living circumstances.
(d) Pragmatists – they learn most excellent when there is a connection among latest facts and real life matters and that will applied instantly.
According to the results of learning Test I am reflector. I willing to place back and seem at the circumstances from various viewpoints. I enjoy gathering information and reflecting about it cautiously prior to creating a final decision. I really like observing other people and pay attention to their outlooks prior to offering my ideas.

In addition, a new learning approach which I have in recent times expanded is visual learning. Business Economics very difficult for me in first year. To avoid this complexity, I tried to observe with the help of some tutorial videos which described fine with some graphical presentations. So, with the help of visual learning style I would like to carry on and it definitely assist me in knowing the subject better and achieving high grades. The visual learning method which will impact me a lot of specific methods in university.
How will you use the new sills you have developed in the future?
To understand the insufficiency in my learning style, I would be extra aware of my difficulties and attempt to instill different approaches in my individually and educationally, in order that confidently would make a high grade. My dreams in the field of educational and professional by integrating latest approaches of learning and reflecting upon it and by suitable direction from my tutor.
In my experience, learning this educational instrument and it is a priceless plus point – both individually and professionally. So, time management, leadership style, group decision making, firm is very vital individually and professionally. In working group projects during course, the skills learnt from SSD tutorials will actually assist me stand out to my top capabilities.
What have you learned from the plagiarism awareness course?
Plagiarism is defined as “the unacknowledged use, as one's own, of work of another person, whether or not such work has been published”.
The plagiarism awareness programme has been trained me that thoughts/frameworks should at all times require to be recognized. Through plagiarism awareness programme in understand the ways to avoid plagiarism. The major method is to constantly apply reference, quotes and paraphrase.
Bradford University conducts a workshop of evaluating the outlooks of students with distinctive course obligations and hopes of teachers. The plagiarism awareness course the teachers are carrying on scrutinizing the requirement for self-learning and investigating, the significance of showing unique efforts, the difference between the contest and the copy, and issues of team assignments. During my SSD presentation, I give importance in putting each data and concepts that I had submitted and to all the time apply proper citations. During this programme would assist me in my higher studies and assignments in University and in addition, in every job I do in the prospect.
Reflect on your skills audit in week 6 and explain how you have used these skills in your other modules?
Throughout the presentation, I had understood a number of my strong points and weak points. My strong points that I noticed I have better leadership skills, high-quality listening capabilities and dedication of team projects that had been set. I am acting as a leader in group assignments. My major responsibility is to coordinate, motivate and direct my colleagues. In acting as a leader, I have to perform two types of roles – task role and social role. However, I was able to pin point my weaknesses that I could have amended, with help of the ‘Team Working’ topic which we had discussed in university. As far as my weakness that I have realised is my lack of communication skills and appreciating other people ideas at times. I am definitely working on my communication skills and will try better next time when I am involved in group working. Furthermore, appreciating other people’s ideas and not to take it for granted. To sum up, SSD programme is very vital which improves and assist the students to mould themselves into a skilled, competent, realistic person. My goal is that from side to side underpinning my strengths, and surmounting my weak points, I will be more victorious in both personally and professionally.
