My assumption for this module was to help myself becoming more interactive and a better communicator. Known as the simple act of transmitting and receiving information, communication is also one of the most important and demanding requisites for the growing and friendly cooperation development of humanity. Brian Kazingu (2014)

As stated by Trevor A. Ambrose (2010), the success for a public talking will be conversing with the audience to truly interface with them on an individual level and have them occupied with what you are transmitting to them, that is the measure of open talking success. Audience want to engage as well as be educated, a friendly presenter is the one who associates with their audience so they feel like they are a piece of the presentation and can respond to the speaker.

My tutor asked me ‘‘how can I be a rapper and have problems with presentation’’. Actually, these are two different things. When I am performing, I can cover it if I make any mistake, but whenever I am delivering a speech or presenting the audience can immediately notice if I make a mistake, for this reason I can say that presenting is more difficult than it looks. Taking off the nervousness and the fact of my group was formed only with students that did the enrolment late (that means We missed some of tips that were given for the students that were present in the first two weeks for the mock presentation and we also did not have enough time to practice), I can say that we did a good job for our first presentation. We have covered and did well the division of all the research question and we also answered all the questions made after our presentation.

Reid (1998) defined learning styles as internally-based qualities that are utilized by learners to see new data and find how to learn this data from best way. Learners want to support their certainty and subsequently give the execution.

During the preparation for the presentation I could find out which of the different learning styles I have been using and see if it is the right for me. To achieve your degree is important that you appraise how to develop the academic skills that you already have and sometimes you might need to learn others and for this you may need to use some studying techniques. In the academic world, there are a variety of studying techniques and learning styles that you can also make the use of during your daily life such as Visual, Auditory and Tactile techniques.

Visual Learners: are the individuals who learn things best through observing them, they regularly like to sit in the front of the class and “watch” the address nearly. Frequently, these understudies will find that data bodes well when it is clarified with the guide of a diagram or picture. Some other characteristics of the visual learns are:

• Are great at spelling however overlooks names of individuals you see just sporadically.

• Needs peaceful review time and appreciates being separated from everyone else.

• Needs to think and consider before understanding a discourse or address.

• They like hues and design.

• Dreams in shading.

• Comprehends/likes diagrams.

• Are great with gesture based communication.

• Are innovative and may appreciate making craftsmanship or composing stories.

• They concoct their best thoughts amid calm time.

Auditory Learners: Are students who tend to hold data more completely when the data is strengthened through sound. Auditory learning methods could incorporate anything from utilizing melodic notes to retain records, to utilizing voice recordings or serenades to remember history terms. Auditory learning students may choose listening to lectures over reading books. Some other characteristics of the auditory learners are:

• They like to peruse to self so anyone can hear.

• are not reluctant to talk in class.

• They like oral reports.

• are great at clarifying.

• They tend to rehash things a couple of things as you tune in to someone else talk.

• Recalls names.

• They feel sound impacts in films.

• They appreciate music.

• Are great at syntax and outside dialect.

• Peruses gradually.

• They take after talked headings well.

• Can’t stay silent for long stretches.

• They appreciate acting, being in front of an audience.

Tactile Learners: are the individuals who learn through getting things done. Since it is the way of this sort of learner to distinguish development, material learners may wind up plainly exhausted more rapidly than different understudies while tuning in to a class address. To recollect a telephone number, material learners may recall the example of their fingers as they press the numbers on a telephone or key cushion. Some other characteristics of tactile learners are:

• Are great at games.

• Can’t sit still for long.

• Are not extraordinary at spelling.

• They do not have extraordinary penmanship.

• They like science lab.

• They consider with noisy music on.

• They like enterprise books, motion pictures.

• They like pretending.

• They take breaks when examining.

• Manufactures models.

• Are included in hand to hand fighting, move.

• Are uneasy amid addresses

The majority of students have a favored method to learn. Some learn best by sounds, some need to watch each progression, while others need to do it to learn it. The secret is making sense of the favored methodology and explore the qualities.

As result of the learning style quiz that we were asked to do for the report I am an auditory learner, which it is true. I believe is because of the fact of being a rapper. Whenever I am recording a song I must be focused and listen carefully to check if I have made any mistake, I got used to listening to things with more attention so much so that I started to pass this same technique to my academic life without noticing. I identify myself a lot with the mentioned characteristics, sometimes books are too difficult to understand and for this reason I usually prefer to pay attention in class and take notes or even watch documentaries and video classes to understand. I have used this method for my week 7 presentation at university and it worked well, I did the research, took note of the most important points, formulated and then practiced out loud, repeating several times to learn. But it can be the case that it does not go as well as expected, this happens especially in working groups because each member may have their own or different learning style from the others and it is difficult to reconcile and this can cause an impact in the group.

Gardner and Hatch (1989) examined how individuals learn contrastingly and have various types of intelligence. If a student is bad in one of the subjects, it doesn’t imply that he or she is a low achiever. A few students are great in a few subjects and weak in others.

To avoid this, it is important to learn how to accommodate the different learning styles, each member of the group should seek to know more about learning styles to better understand their group members and to have a better distribution of the work because some of the learning styles work better than others in specific areas.

As reported by Kellianne Holland (2016) having the capacity to suit each learning style will give the opportunity for each student to learn without falling behind. Despite the fact that everybody has their own particular favored learning styles, it is valuable to know about different styles and how to strengthen weaker style.

Boatman, Courtney and Lee (2008) led an exploration on the impacts of learning styles and the linkage amongst them and instructing styles. They gave a ‘‘VAK Questionnaire’’ to 211 students from different nationalities from a College called Saint Mary in California and the results showed that the most used learning style was the ‘‘visual’’ one.

Learning styles are important to prepare students for the scholarly and communicative professional practices in class to rise the student’s academic level in school. To achieve this, they need to discuss more about the learning styles for the advantage of all the students in the world. A superior comprehension of the students’ distinctive learning styles can constrain teachers to coordinate their teaching styles to students’ learning styles which may prompt a larger amount of students’ capability in learning in schools. The information of learning styles will go about as an entryway that can help people perceive their learning inclinations and it will help educators to outline intuitive lesson arranges which may bring about making a strong learning condition in classroom. Therefore, understudies can feel uncommon and accomplish better comprehension of lessons.
