Invisible Man, written by Ralph Ellison, is an novel, where the story takes place in a black college in Harlem, NY in the 1930s. For his education, the man attends college, but gets expelled for standing up in front of a white male, and showing him what real “Black life” is.. Then, he moves to Harlem, and becomes an speaker for the Communist Party. As a speaker, he is threatened, but commended too. Ras used violence to prevent/fight the society, but Brothehood wanted to find a peaceful solution. The structural viewpoint in the story is black against white.
