We are connected through the network of internet. Mobile phones, Internet, television and many other technology all these have made our distance short.
In modern life, due to civilization and modernized life we have made many unnatural changes in various environmental factors for our ease and our life style. We are making pollution and many poisonous things in environment. To say, there is pollution of noise, pollution of air, pollution of water, pollution of soil, pollution of chemical, pollution of thermal and many other pollution. Many of them are visible and instantly detectable, But there is another kind of pollution that is not detectable and seriously harmful. This pollution harms slowly thus can be called a slow poison type pollution also. This pollution is the electromagnetic wave pollution.
The first thing that hits our mind about wave is radio wave and light wave. But there is a huge category in this wave. Every kind of waves are not electromagnetic and not all of them behaves the same way or shows the same characteristics in their nature. There are many kinds of wave. Like radio wave, sound wave, light wave, micro wave and etc.
All these waves are formed and radiated by many means and for many reasons around us. We use mobile phone, internet, blue tooth, wifi routers, microwave machine, electric heaters and many other digital wireless systems. All those things radiate those waves all over the atmosphere. The waves are 24/7 around us. These waves can penetrate walls, water, and even human body and all matters according to wave characteristics and functionality which is scaled by wave length, frequency and wave velocity/speed etc. We are always getting penetrated by those wave every day and every 24 hours a day. We don’t even notice and feel them, but they are affecting our body system and harming to us.

GSM phones normally support three bands (900/1,800/1,900 MHz or 850/1,800/1,900 MHz) or four bands (850/900/1,800/1,900 MHz)
CDMA incorporates the TIA IS-95 interface standard, and operates in the 450 MHz, 800 MHz or 1.9 GHz radio frequency bands, and uses 1.23~1.25 MHz-wide channel bandwidth transport technology
These two systems are widely used by cell phone and network service provider companies.
And the frequency range also varies from country to country also.
Mobile phone emitted radiation falls into the category of non-ionizing radiation. which has lower energy radiation that doesn’t have enough energy to damage our cells. But these waves can cause harms like cancer, tumors and various other neurological and cardiac problems.
When we talk through mobile phones, we hold that receiver to our ears and the radiation penetrates through our head(brain) and can cause functional and chemical changes in our brain as wave effects matters and interferes with the medium particles. Apart from that when we do keep that phone in our pocket, it radiates the waves and causes harm in the different parts of our body.
Mobile phones only transmits power when it is turned on. The wave penetration rate falls off rapidly with increasing distance from the handset. A person using a mobile phone at a distance of 30–40 cm away from their body. For example while message the text, Internet accessing will therefore have a much lower exposure to radio frequency fields than someone holding the mobile phone to their ears.
Short term effect of mobile phone Rfs (radio frequencies) are brain electrical activity abnormality, cognitive function changes, sleep cycle changes, heart rate and blood pressure changes. Thus mobile phone radio frequencies interact with human body through a small change in temperature or tissue heating process. The radiated wave energy is absorbed by the skin and other tissues and in consequence raises the temperature in brain, skin and other organs cell. Long term exposure effects includes tumors, cancer and cardiac arrest and other severe problems.
