1) Environmental Degradation

As a human, we should take care of environment very well. It is really affected our life because if we do not have a good environment, for sure we cannot breathing well. In term of air pollution, it is really related to transport. Every transport nowadays using combustion fuel process, so it will produced many smoke to the air. If every transport produce the smoke, we will experience air pollution.

In Thailand, we can see their city develop day by day. Many people will spend their day to go here and there. Only minor will have a mind to share their car with other, the others will use their own car to go everywhere even alone. They do not even think about the affect to environment. We should always remind that air is very important and essential for life but polluted air can kill. In order to protect Thailand’s citizen and its environment is Thailand need to strict and enforced air pollution legislation. The agency that responsible to these problems should think wisely on how to solve the problem. Sector-specific legislation such as for road vehicles, diesel machinery and seagoing ship is keys to achieving clean air in Thailand. Thailand urgently needs to tighten and improve enforcement to its road.

Next, in the term of water pollution, in Thailand also have water pollution due to shipping activities. It is happened when the ship produced oils and it will cause the pollution to the water. So it will disturb citizens who are doing their everyday routine at the sea such as hardcore fisherman. To solve this problem, people need to think on how to arrange the flow of the oils go without disturb their trip and other’s activities.

2) Traffic Problem

For this problem, the focus is in Bangkok. Even though their city is now developing, but they did not have a good arrangement for their facilities. We can see even beside the main road, people enjoying run their business such as open a stall, doing busking, illegal parking and many more.

So, one traffic cop came up with the idea banning older cars from entering Bangkok, or atleast getting the driver to pay the same tax as new car if they live in Bangkok. Another idea was to charge per minute for the time your car is broken down and blocking the streets of Bangkok. Other than that, people think that parking illegally on the sidewalk has nothing to do with traffic problems, but it does. If the pavement on Bangkok are full with vendors selling foods or with parked car, then the pedestrians have no choice but to walk on the road. This then leads to cars having to slow down or changes lanes. The same goes for illegally parked cars.

Others problems include people going through red lights when their exit is not clear, queue jumping when doing u-turns, buses dropping of passenger in the middle of the road, people constantly changing lanes and motorcycles driving everywhere including in the wrong direction. Many politicians in the past have promised to solve Bangkok’s traffic problems. Sometimes, building overpass bridges and move skytrain routes have helped. But, as fast as the road clears, the quicker they fill up with even more cars. The government’s first time buyer’s scheme obviously did not help this problem.

3) Land Uses Problem

Thailand is a country which is use their land wisely. They use to build a building as a benchmark, build mall as a shopping complex, a places that tourist may visit such as theme park or historical place, use abandoned land to do farming activity so that they can gain money from it.

Land use has been significantly intensified, with wetland rice cultivation, pesticide and irrigation, especially for the production of vegetables and fruit for the growing urban markets. Forest product is gathered, making handicraft for sale and livestock-raising are important in some areas. By that, many people have migrated to the town and city such as Bangkok.

So, the problems is, because of too many land uses, tourist have less choice to visit due to all the place have been modified for their importantness themselves. They should have a good strategy on how to build a building, do farming which cannot disturb tourism activity.
