Concerning Whether or not God exists
“In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth” (Genesis 1:1) and in the beginning He created the Earth, the Moon and the Stars. He created everything you are surrounded by and everything that is needed to create something as unique as yourself. Thousands from all over the world still question the legitimately of God, and whether or not their truly is an all powerful soul that rules over the kingdom of the world. Is it all just myth? Or is there truly a superior figure responsible for the ride we are all currently ridding, as well as the actions we choose throughout our days and the upcoming ones. Could such a sacred document truly exist and be factual, or is it truly all a myth? After more than 2,000 years Scientist, Religious Experts and Thousands of people both those whom have a religious background and those without can testify to the legitimacy found in Christ and His existence.
From the beginning of time scientist have been baffled by the existence of DNA and how it came to play such an important role in today’s society. Every Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic cell has a double helix structure of DeoxyNucelic Acid (DNA) a molecule whose sole responsibility is to carry genetic information for reproduction function and growth in all known living things. For some hundred years scientists have been stumped by how the first strand of DNA was conceived. Throughout the past 100 years Scientist from all different corners of the world have worked to decode the Human Genome. Finally in the year 2000 the Human Genome was completed and it left scientist once again bewildered as to how and where the first strand began. DNA and its building blocks, called nucleotides, do not form spontaneously, in fact they form from one another, and grow from there. The beginning of each strand needs a Polymerase and a primer. Two components that do not just appear, and cannot just form. On June 26, 2000 President Clinton congratulated the team for completing the sequencing of the Human Genome saying, “Today we are learning the language in which God created life. We are gaining ever more are for the complexity, the beauty, the wonder of God’s most divine and sacred gift”. While President Clinton is no scientist, and has never been known to have a large revelation that God does in fact exist, He does have a belief in Christ.
We live in a particularly perfect atmosphere and area. Not only does it have beautiful surroundings, the formula of life is dependent on the atmosphere we subsist in. Without the atmospheric pressure we currently live in we would not be able to find liquid water at our surface. Earth has precise ingredients of elements and organic molecules, needed for life to occur. We are currently situated at the perfect distance from the sun so that temperatures are conducive to life, as we know it. Life started on our world extremely early, and has since then sustained itself for the entirety of history, giving rise to us sentient and self-aware creatures. All of these wonderful things could not have existed without some kind of perfectionist at the hand of it all. A claim often made isn’t merely that the Earth is unlikely without the help of a superior, however that our plant, with the perfection of the circumstances that give rise to us, is statistically impossible, give all the stars and galaxies in the universe none of which are any like the one we find ourselves inhabited on. The emergence of our intelligent life is so unexpected, and perverse, given all the factors that are needed to occur in just the right particular order, that our Universe so specifically followed. Given that our Universe then must have been designed specifically to give rise to the mortal race and the organisms that roam the world. The argument however goes that the odds of us coming to be is so extraordinarily small that it seems to be unreasonable to even believe it could have happened just by chance, therefore leading to some living proof of the existence of the World.
In other words, scientifically speaking the ways life needed to arise were and still are extremely specific to earth. However with these specifications one can wonder how many of them do living things require, versus how many of them happen in a particular way due to the way others happened prior. Aspects such as the Chemistry of atoms and molecules occur with liquid water as a basic requirement of the functioning of each. These objects could and are apparent in all environments that we know to be toxic to all terrestrial life, however the balance are found in the ecosystem of Earth are at such levels that life is sustainable. There are also trillions of plants within our home galaxy that orbit stars,
“Somewhere around 40-to-80 billion of [these planets] are candidates for [having the following traits] being rocky planets, located where they’ll consistently have Earth-like temperatures, and that ought to support and sustain liquid water on their surfaces” (Forbes)
all which are required to have life within. Therefore, there are other planets sustainable for life, those same planets however are deemed unsustainable due to the harsh chemicals within the air.
When will I die? How will I die? Where will I go after I die? Some of the biggest questions in life seem to never truly be answered; however certain religious doctrines seem to help ease our questions.
