The life of the beautiful Helen of Troy, was said to be magical as all worshiped her, they say that she was the beauty that lead thousands of ships, she was said to be in love with the handsome prince of Troy. Greek Mythology states that she was in love that she ran away with the prince for the heroic King of Sparta to get her back and show her that he was worthy of his heart.
Throughout the movie the representation of this sequence of events is that Helen of Troy, fell in love with Paris after he came for a democratic visit to Sparta, Greece. This is then further stated when Helen gives up all she has as queen to become the princess of Troy and run away with Paris. They throughout the movie state that she was in love not abducted, however they also state that Menelaus was an old and ugly man with a beautiful wife that he picked to be his queen of Sparta. This is taken to many extents and he states that when he gets his hands-on Helen he will kill her for leaving him, all of this is represented in a wrong way and continues on the path of she ran away for love. After the end of the Trojan war the movie shows that she escaped through a secret tunnel, then she fled to her freedom, yes without Paris.
Helen of Troy was raped and abducted by Paris prince of Troy, as he couldn’t live without her beauty, she was then taken to Troy where they say she was made to marry the prince. The Trojan war began after the prince Paris of Troy abducted Helen, the wife of Menelaus the King of Sparta. When Menelaus demanded Helens return, the Trojan prince stated that Helen was in love with him and that to take Helen away was an act of injustice. Menelaus whom was in love with Helen and had taken an oath when marring her to always protect her, convinced his brother Agamemnon to lead and army to bring Helen back to Sparta. Paris died in the Trojan war, and Helen then was forced to marry his brother Deiphobus, after the Greeks won the Trojan war Helen was reunited with Menelaus, and they together killed Deiphobus.

I give this Myth/event a 1/10 rating as she was raped and abducted not in love with Paris, the movie is completely untrue in many senses of this, however they did state that she did go to Troy with Paris though and that is the only reason I gave the Event a 1/10 otherwise I would have stated that it was completely untrue in basically all manner.
The eventual Troy and what became of it after the Trojan war. After the Trojan war the eventual troy was somewhat a myth and non-event that continued in stories and legends, however it is true and did continue after the Trojan War ended.
In the movie, the end of Troy is finalised through the last few scenes, it states that Troy’s life is over after the Greeks completely destroy all of Troy, kill all the men and hurt all the women. They movie really emphasises that the end of Troy is here and now, they don’t state that there will be a new ruler, or that it is restored they really leave on a low note of the end and what it means to be at the end. The movies states that all the sons are dead and that all is lost.
After the Trojan war Troy was left in complete ruin, the Greeks however left the city of Troy to the last son left of the King of Troy. Laemedon the king and the rest of his sons were killed in the Trojan war or after the Trojan war, conversely the youngest son Podarces was released from the Greeks and took a new name when he was presented the destroyed Troy his Kingdom, he newly called himself Priam, he restored the Kingdom of Troy to its former glory and ruled over troy successfully for many years, he had three generations of heirs after him and in total had fifty sons and twelve daughters which carried the Trojan royal name. His eldest son was called Hector and was seen as one of the greatest Trojan warriors that ever lived.

The rating I give this event/myth is a 3/10 as they did get the fundamental ending of Troy really quite correct, however they didn’t state that Troy would be reborn or that it really wasn’t all of an ending for the great city and that’s why I am giving it such a low rating as quite frankly it deserves the low score.
The myth of Achilles the great and mighty warrior that defeats other great warriors, how Achilles died and who killed him.
The movie does have Paris kill Achilles in the end of the Trojan war, it also has a great deal of detail into the life of Achilles and his mother. However, it states that his father is dead, other than this it doesn’t go into depth about his status in society and that he is royalty. The movie has his death with regret as Paris realises that his cousin is in love with Achilles and that he was in-fact helping his cousin. Through the movie they don’t really say much about Achilles personality they mainly just state that he was a man that could basically kill anyone at any time and that they believed he was a demi-god and that he was immortal.
Achilles' most notable feat during the Trojan War was the slaying of the Trojan hero Hector outside the gates of Troy. Although the death of Achilles is not stated in the Iliad, other sources concur that he was killed near the end of the Trojan War by Paris, who shot him in the heel with an arrow. Achilles was a Greek hero, most famous for his part in the Trojan War. He was the son of Thetis and Peleus, the king of Myrmidons. This led to the Olympian gods leaving, and Thetis went on to marry Peleus. When he was born, Thetis dipped Achilles in the river Styx to make him as people believe somewhat immortal.

Overall the end thought of the truth and the movie is ok, I would give a rating of 7/10 as in most of the definitive places and key points of Achilles life the movie and truth were lined up. The only thing is that they didn’t go into much detail about his life even though he was a key person in the Trojan war.
