Henry Ford creates assembly line production

Did you know that Ford creates assembly line production played a big part in world war ll. What do you think wood of happened if henry ford did not take action? Ford has been making trucks and cars more then 100 years. But back in the 1939 Henry Ford the oner of the ford assembly line production was afforded to help in word war ll by producing more weapons and other war machines. Ford did not agree with the afore of Jimmy Doolittle insisted the second time Henry Ford Ford didn't voluntarily get with the program, there was a very real concern that Roosevelt would take over Ford's production facilities. Ford was a big help in world war ll and accomplished something that no one could and it was making a B-24 Liberator bomber every hour.

One hundred years ago, Chairman Bill great-grandfather had a vision to build safe and efficient transportation for everyone. Ford Executive Chairman Bill Ford said “I am proud he was able to bring the freedom of mobility to millions by making cars affordable to families and that his vision of serving people still drives everything we do today.” This was all inspired to make the assembly line production so every one can affordable price for the people. On December /1/1913 Henry Ford installs the first moving assembly line for the mass production of an entire automobile. His innovation reduced the time it took to build a car from more than 12 hours to two hours and 30 minutes.

“Henry Ford and his team at Highland Park assembly plant launched the world’s greatest contribution to manufacturing  the first moving assembly line. It simplified assembly of the Ford Model T’s 3,000 parts by breaking it into 84 distinct steps performed by groups of workers as a rope pulled the vehicle chassis down the line.” So with the first moving assembly line they had Model T price drop from $850 to less than $300. For the first time in history, quality vehicles were affordable to the people that did not have to much money. Henry Ford had made affordable cars in less then 3 hours, and that meant that if they dropped the price so much that meant that more people could buy there cars. When ford had sold more and, Ford built a Model T every 24 seconds and sold more than 15 million worldwide by 1927, accounting for half of all automobiles then sold.

After the assembly line production was running nice and smooth worked war ll was happening and President Franklin Roosevelt was in charge. So with fords compony working so good that in December 1940, Roosevelt wanted help by the most successful and only running assembly line. As Jimmy Doolittle and Roosevelt asked Henry denied but as Jimmy Doolittle insisted a second time Henry thought that Roosevelt would take over Ford's production facilities. So he responded and told Jimmy and Roosevelt that he will help if and only if they use the weapons for only for U.S. defense, not for foreign wars. Jimmy and Roosevelt asserted and ford got to works to make a B-24 which is a bomber airplane.  So later in that year thanks to the amazing way that the assembly line worked they made 50,000 airplanes, 130,000 engines, 55,000 artillery pieces and mortars, 9,200 tanks, 580 ships, and two million machine guns and rifles. But by the time the war ended, Ford had produced approximately 9,000 B-24s.

Ford did not just help in the war the also had made a new way of things bing made and it is all thanks to Ford. But what do you think wood of happened if henry ford did not take action? There is two answers we wold of had no way to fight more efficiently or ford could of been token over by President Franklin Roosevelt and Jimmy Doolittle. If ford was not something what do you think was going to happen you have to think if ford was not real know how wold the world be no one wold have a assembly line and very thing will be so slow and the prices are going to be over the roof. Thanks to ford we can have a much more cheaper way and that really helped our country out and now all that we use is assembly lines what wold be the world with out ford. Ford go farther in life and in technology sense 1939 ford has been changing life as we know it.
