In Singapore Community cultural development (CCD) is a broad term covering a wide range of activities that gives to communities the opportunity to explain or tell their stories, build their creative skills, and be active participants in the development of their own individual culture. Collaborations between communities and artists which can take place.
Cultural Awareness Forum which we developed by CCD is to Culture is the particular group of people like art form, music, dance, literature, visual arts, film & photography. This means a focus on cultural projects that have tangible social and community development outcomes in additions to artistic outcomes.
Cultural Awareness Performance Workshop which is the ‘Gateways to special needy people’ helped in developing great amount of understanding and knowledge about the Indigenous community protocols of the Singapore especially ‘Inclusively Yours was a collaborative visual art project that attempted to engage special needs adults and the merchandising staff of Ion Orchard in a journey of exploration and learning’.
