From this case, Bersih is one of the most lmited in Malaysia because this civil society in ethnic and religiously divided societies to advocate the case for one particular ethnic group against another ethnic group. Based on information, Bersih have another name is very interesting ( The Coalition For Clean and Fair Elections ). Bersih were started out as at Joint Action Committee for Electoral Reform which was formed in July 2005. Bersih must submitted the four demands to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Malaysia’s head of state, during the rally. One of the most refuged by Bersih held the rally to illegal not permission from the YDPA. This bad attitude coming on the liot police used chemical-laced water to over away the crowd. From this rally Bersih created under religious divided because they opposite to the government however, to promote negative things to other people mind convert the relationship between the different ethinicity.
First attempt from the Bersih did not give good support from the people. Their mind to attempt second public demonstration for proper introduction from the good leader. According to Trinna Leong and Al-Zaquan Amer Hamzah from the article REUTERS 2015, on 19 July 2011 they fixed to held the demonstration at Kuala Lumpur. Bersih 2.0 rally also called Walk for Democracy give meaning in year 2008 required 4 demand not involve at the same time increase the another 8 demand such as minimum 21 days of campaign period,no corruption,no dirty politics and others. It was very critical for Malaysia and the unity of people. The rally was again contradict a permit. Bersih didn’t get support from the people the opposite direction they get criticized from the government and non-govermental associtions or organizations. Furthermore, Bersih was agree 5 July 2011 to clear with their rally from the Stadium Merdeka. But they turnout from the place 0n 9 July 2011 with 10000 until 50000 supporters.Another issue w remind this time Ambiga give speech like dividing the beautiful unity in Malaysia and she says the government not give right things to the all unity people. Her attitude to be insufficient cover fully mind and heart the other people.One of the thing some people in Bersih mind set we not get human right things at same level.This mind set people involve in Bersih to provide anti government and the advantages of Malaysia to be disqualify because the issue ethinic and religious not be control by police.
Consequently, the Bersih 3.0 rally called by supporters Sit In rally was largest protest democratic in Malaysia. Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) on 2 Oktober 2011 respond to electoral systems. PSC to released report to the 22 recommendations to approval electoral syatem.The second step continuesly is the Dewan Rakyat to respond the report from the PSC on April 2012 voice of the majority without debate. Speaker Dewan Rakyat rejected the electoral system from the Bersih because didn’t get majority votes from politicians. According to the Editor Datuk Adbdul Jalil Hamid from the Utusan Malaysia Bersih unsatisfied from the PSC report so they decided to held third public demonstration on 28 April 2012 at Dataran Merdeka.In Sit In rally additionaly 3 demands are resignation of the existing electoral commission, implementation of the 8 demands before the 13th general actions and observations the 13th general election by international observers. Police again used gas and water cannon against the Bersih supporters to maintain the peaceful demonstration. They were targeted to remove crowd or out from the Dataran Merdeka.This was happen the people or citizens in Malaysia faced many problems are destroy peaceful place and mind, misunderstanding between ethnic and religious.
On the other hand, Bersih 4.0 give most unpeaceful to the people and held on 29 August,2pm until midnight and August 30 2015 in four streets are Kuala Lumpur, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. Police was blocked off parts of the Malaysian capital as thousand protesters prepared to descend on the city for a weekend rally demanding Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s resignation. According to the Editor Datuk Adbdul Jalil Hamid from the Utusan Malaysia From many states in Malaysia to come the rally such as Perak got 5000 people, Kedah 3000 people and also other states. Ipoh Barat MP M.Kulasegaran and Ipoh Timur MP Thomas Su said arranged for eight buses. New Sin Yew said the peaceful gathering was not about Bersih but to communicate to the government the legitimate grievances of the people. PERKASA president Ibrahim Ali has given support to join the Bersih 4 rally. The stall owner,Liu Zhi Qiang said that from noon until 2pm on August 29, he would have 300 packs of economy rice to be given away at his ‘333 Economy Rice’ stall at the DG Food Court in Taman Wawasan, near Puchong. Hindarf advisor N.Ganesan has called on the Indian rights movement to give its support behind the Bersih 4 rally. The opportunity for a new and re-aligned progressive force to institude changes in the country. He said ongoing political crisis today which had sparked the Bersih 4 rally have impacted the already oppressed Indian poor. In the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) not allowing the rally to be held in the city and surrounding the areas. This was Bersih 4.0 stop to several minutes but this rally held successfully not success by government.
In conclusion, Bersih one of the civil society demonstrate in Malaysia and give impact negative only to the government and citizens of the people. Bersih was most want limited in Malaysia because the pressure from Bersih is unsolved by other people. I am anti Bersih all the time because I’m proud to be Malaysians and support the government.
