Abstract

Women empowerment is the most intellectual issue in Pakistan. Pakistan is a state with numerous challenges among women empowerment, thus Pakistan being an Islamic state women face many struggles. Women empowerment plays a crucial role in the development of a society. By keeping in mind its multidimensional observations the nature of the study, we were able to maintain an index by acknowledging the problems of women. In this paper an attempt is made to acknowledge women will, to focus that how things are and how they meant to be.

Research Methodology

To make an impression on the problem, founded and improvised the solution accordingly. Secondary Data is collected from various sources i.e. Documentaries, Blogs, Research papers.

The women of Pakistan now have the hope of an equal future beside their men instead of behind them. The national business experts has pledging help women in Pakistan our goal is to provide them is to provide them with E-Learning (Electronic learning through media or internet) social media skills and a technological assistance needed to grow their businesses. They are to encourage rise up and dream their dreams and to succeed as business women & entrepreneurs. Many women collaborated with US entrepreneurs i.e. CHRISTINA WAGNER marketing director of KFNX,CYNTHIA KNIGHT residential realtor for different various projects, this is not only changing the style of business but changing the world. They are still guiding women in Pakistan who need help in business. It all start with a passion, believe & then there it leads to developing it growing it building it & succeeding on that passion, dream to make it happen.

Pakistan emerge from a world map in the 14th of august 1947 since then the country has faced numbers of problems on its way to progress all of the issues were major in the badly affected society perhaps the greatest setbacks with in the areas women education & health, poverty is widely spread in the country & particularly dominant in the rural areas nearly 2 third of the population & 80% poor people living rural parts of the country This is the story of women in Pakistan.

Millions of women in Pakistan have no access to maternal health services causing the deaths of 15,000 women and 30,000 babies last year. Muslim charity care provide maternal health services through constructing 5 major hospitals in rural and cities in Pakistan.

11th may 2012 Muslim charity set a mission as responsibility to build one operating theater for poor women to work their way to success, in 16th march 2013 the mission was completed named ABDUL LATIF TAHIR GYNE HOSPITAL and was donated to the women doctors who were un employed in Pakistan Junaid Jumshed himself participated as social responsibility.

In Islamabad a HeForShe campaign was started by the initiatives of The British high commission join hands with the US department of international development, They jointly hosted an event, with the purpose of gender equality among men and women that men and women are equal and thus treated with equal rights, maintain a specific mistake in society. In HeforShe campaign is the international movement to get the men involved in the work on the achievement of gender equality.At NRS international and H.Sheikh Nor-Ud-Din & Sons strongly supports gender equality as a basis human right, they have invited Pakistani sons, brothers and fathers to support female empowerment & equality and raise their voices. They initially come up with the idea for ‘’HE for SHE campaign’’

Days are to come when Pakistan a country where women enjoy equal rights & respect, the same level of decision making authority and equal mobility and protection under law as their male counter parts.

Women empowerment is one of the most debatable issues in the development circles now-a-days. Pakistan being a democratic and an Islamic state, the issue of women empowerment faces new challenges. Considering its multidimensional nature and to give an empirical aspect to this study, an index is developed about the knowledge of true Islamic teachings and values.  In this paper, an attempt is made to remove the miss-conception that ‘Islam’ as a religion hinders the way of women empowerment, using regression analysis based on the primary data from a district of Southern Punjab. The results show that Islamic concept of women empowerment strengthened by the women’s education, education of her household members, access to media, health facilities, less no of household members along with no fear of violence. Finally, it is concluded that Islam as a religion ensures maximum women’s rights. It is our typical social norms, old traditions imported from other religions and ignorance from the true teachings of Islam, which has made today’s women vulnerable.
