the Berbers was the origin habitant in tunisia they are until today setteled as few commities in the south of Tunisia specially in tataouine they were jwech at the

beginning but after that with the arrivals of  Arabs  they covert to Islam.

By the 5th centery the roman empire was totally crumbling. it was followed by the rampaging .

People called the vandals also they had conquered In  Spain vandals led by Genseric crossed to north Africa.

After the Punic war   there was  a  period  of   Berber kings  allied with Rome.

this city is in the northeast of tunisia and it open directly to the Mediterranean sea so it becomes an important pole of commercial exchange

At that time Some Berbers rose in society and after that the city of carthage was rebuilt

Finally with the stability of the Romans Christianity at that time became the official religion of Tunisia.

many civilizations pass through tunisia beside the Romains and the Arab like the ottomans civilization :

The Turks were fighting against the Byzantines and Rome

the Spanish king tried to establish protectorate over Tunisia but it was defeated by the ottomans on sea .

Tunisia became a province of the ottomans and there is many pashas that ruled Tunisia like khaireddine pasha and many others.

Habib bourguiba

One of the leader of Tunisia he was born on 3 august 1903 he is considered as the architecte of Tunisia after it takes her independence and it becomes one of the major voices of moderation in the Arab world

He practiced low when he was in Tunis in 1927 and he became engaged in political struggle for independence  

He was also active in the nationalist newspaper in 1932 and in the constitutional party.

The constitution party won about 90 seat in the new national republic.

Bourguiba set to lead the new republic in accordance with his own vision.

Bourguiba has built  modern Tunisia he was the first one that he gave the right to everyone to  educate freely also he gave rights to  women with the code of personal status in 1957 written  by Taher el Haded

he died on 6 April 2000 in monastir

its a series of progressive Tunisian lows.

it gave the woman a unique place in the Tunisian society.

it was promulgated on 13 august 1956

it aim the institution of equality between men and women some of this lows are:

.the civil marriage is the only one  considered in Tunisian republic

.polygamy is abolished for man.

.the divorce can be only in the tribunal.

.people can marry at age of 18 not before

.the marriage can be done  only with the agreement of both parts.

this low came to effect on 1 January 1957.

Woman has taken many important posts we found her as minister  also we  find her as a pilot and many other.

CULTURE

1.MUSIC

One of the most known type of music is malouf

its played in small orchestras that consisted many instrument like violins drums flutes and so on

it basically came from the andalous and it still till now having this temperament

many artists that was concerning by this type of music like zied gharsa and his father taher gharsa also saleh el mahdi and many others

one of the most old school that still practicing this type of music is al rachideya.

also there is many artists that were concerning of tunisian music like oulaya, hedi el jouini, ali el riyahi, choubayla rachedd, soulef and many others.

more than that we cannot speak about music without speaking about the most great musicians nowadays is  the gharbi brothers they are twins called bechir and mohammed

mohammed plays violin and bechir plays oud

they are one of the greater instrument players  in tunisia they are considered one of the underground musicians

they compose their music by them selves

they had many prices and the last one was in jmc  "journees musicales de carthage" in march 2015 some title of their music 'taamoulet' 'hams' 'khaouater' and so on.

tunisian  food is a combination of Arabic Mediterranean meadle eastern and French influence most  of the dashes are cooked with olive oil and many other ingredient

some of this food are

couscous,kaftaji ,lablabi, mloukheya,jelbana,tajine,brik,chorba,salade mechweya , hrissa and so on tunisia is an Islamic country however alchool is not  prohibited  we can find it in bars resturants and some supermarkets tunisia produces some alcoholic product like beers wine and many others.

Tunisia is an attractive place in eyes of all her visitors and there is many wonderful places to visit like Tunis the capital ,Hamemet ,Soussa , Djerba,Mahdia and so on

there is many wonderful beaches that anyone could enjoy it during the summer

we have to mentioned that every year have that the Jews committee came from all over the world to do their periling in Djerba  "alghriba".

One of the most wonderful villages is sidi bousaid its colored with blue and white also it appreciate all tourist visiting it from all over the world

Everyone can visit many monumets like the roman

colisee in Jam,Carthage ,Sbitla and so on

2. poetry

poetry have a main role in the culture of Tunisia that’s why we have to mentioned one of the most important poets in Tunisia is abouelkacem el chebbi is one of the greater in the Arab world

he was born in 1909 and he was died in 1939

He wrote many poems and they was translated in many languages

His poems was singed by many singers such as majida elroumi and many others

He was engaged by loving his country and sacrifice for her especially during the French colonialism

Conclusion

Tunisia is one of the countries that mark the history throughout culture and civilization

I’m happy to represent country even with small parts

I’m really proud to be a Tunisian woman and I always try to honor it by knowledge and education

Although all the challenges and problems that Tunisia is faced now this country surely Tunisia will never die

Tunisia is the best one for me I love it now …and always
