aThere are different ypes of organstions with different purposes and different scales, first of there are public sector companies, public sector companies are owned by the government rather then individuals, these include but are not limited to the NSH , the police force and so on, public sector companies are not set up to make profit but rather to help people of the country by providing various services, for example the NHS tries to keep the nation healthy so there enough working people and aim of the police force would to keep the rate low, the second secor is called private sector, private sector companies are owned by individual or individulas, these comaines are set up to genartate profit either through providing a product or service, these are the most common type businesses, unlike the public sector most of the business in thie section are competing with each other for the cunsumers attention. Finaly there is the voluntary sector, voluntary sector, companies In this sector are set up to raise money for charity, this companies in this sector are owned by individual/ individuals just like the private sector but there goal is not to make profit but rather raise to help popele in need #

Size and scope

Businesses can come in all seizes, the size of a business can be detrmined by many different factors for example the number of staff employees, the amout of profit it generates and on what scale it operates

Business can operate on different scales, these include localy, nationaly, internationaly or globaly

Local businesses are busineses that operate in a a small community and could be something like shop, a national business is a business that operates through out one country, a international business is a business that operates in more than a few countries around the worls and global business is a business that operates all around the world a great example of a global business would be McDonald, the internet allows the smallest of the business to operate all around the world, as small business do not need to have a shop in individual countries to operate,

Structure of the business

Business have different structure based on what their needs are, how big they are, and what country the operate in

Sole trader, a sole traders is is an individual that owns a busiess, this measn that only one person owns the company, only the sole trader is responsible for the company, they are are allowed to employee other staff, the sole trader would use flat structure as there nromaly no more than 20 stfaf employeed, this means that communvation between the staff and the oewner is direct, this allows ofr much more direct control of the staff

 High way England( HWE)is a government owned organstion, it became government owned back in april 2015, high way englands main purpose are to make sure that England’s  mmotorways and major roads  are well manstained . high way england covers around 4, 300 miles of road in the uk, high ways englands aims are “to ensure our major roads are more dependable, durable and most importantly – are safe., “higb way England employees about 3,500 staff all over the country, high ways englands vision is 2to support economic growth with a modern and reliable road network that reduces delays, creates jobs, helps business and opens up new areas for development ensure our activities result in a long term and sustainable benefit to the environment”

They are affetycted by HWEs actiuvties, the residence are concerd about noise pollution caused by traffic, if hwe wants to build new roads they would have to think about the residence living in an area, hwe have to get permission from local communities in order to build a road

envromantal agencies are concerned about the impact that hwe has on the wildlife and the eniveorment in an area, building new roads means that there is less place for animals to live, roads also increases the moralty rate of animels, as it inceease the chance of animals getting run over in a accident, enicromantal agenices would want hwe to do everthing they can to protect the environment

road users want hwe to maintain the roads to be well maintained( fixing potholes), they want to have better road surface to improve the driving experience, road users want redueced joruny times, road users also want to be informed about any unexpected delays
