HOW TO SHUN PESSIMISM FROM LIFE

Pessimism is essentially an opposite of optimism and about the person who expects the worst, it is the core belief that the world is a bad and unfavorable place and that things will turn out for nothing. People may have pessimistic life patterns; for example: about the potency of getting a new job, or about their partner forgiving when he/she did silly mistakes.

The foremost question comes into our mind without any conscious effort, the pessimism and negative approaches towards anything affect us directly and indirectly both. As we all know about the famous quote: “a man is social animal” which indicates that we human beings are dependent on each other, we are living a reciprocal life, our moods and emotions are connected with each other. The quality of relationships we maintain in our surroundings should be relevant with our social backgrounds. Our engagement style determines that how we interact, behave, attribute others and in exchange process we will attain the same response from the world.

NO BATTLE CAN BE WON BY PESSIMISM

There are many exceptions with every individual, not everything in the world is determined by the law of give and take. Now the question arises that how to tackle with difficult people, they can easily term as “NEGATIVE” because of their ways of living life, rigid thought patterns, and tricky manipulations to deceive people. These kinds of people usually discourage other for their helping, caring, positive behaviours. Because of their non progressive attitude towards life, they having negative impact on people who want to spend life with positive point of view. There narrow mindedness are the most effective tool for them to distract others.

PESSIMISM IS WEAKNESS…OPTIMISM IS POWER

Such individuals usually pass cynical and critical comments on others, give compliments by using negative gestures. It gives the feeling of emotional, social, moral, mental as well as physical target. It adds the difficulty in combating the challenges towards life, a sense helplessness, lack of knowledge, and in lacking of many other areas of life. This brings a nightmare situation for a person to face these kind of people, these things are extremely tough but a strong personality should manage this, by controlling oneself and others too but don’t blame external factors for failures. e.g. luck and environment. They are generally the people who possess low self-esteem and their happiness is dependent on others.

How To Deal With The Negative People:

There are way to deal with negative people, is better to maintain distance with them by keeping them at an arm’s length, in instances where such an idea does not work effectively as for example: one cannot avoid siblings, parents, close ones and friends, in that scenario comprehend the cause of their negativity and work on it.  Build a good relationship pattern, give them space, and respect, control and love with care because that’s what they are in need and try to cope well with them so that they also able to compensate it. Half of the sample were grown up together whereas, the other half were raised separately. The results indicated that almost 25 % ,they inherited optimism and pessimism from their genes. It further suggests that our positive outlook of perceiving thing is partly made up of genetics and half determined by environment, support from others and behavior that are learned. The psychologist named Martin Seligman belonged to the University of Pennsylvania described that like other skills optimism can be learned. He worked out to proven his believe by giving learning skills to his students regarding techniques to be optimistic, after that he compared out mental wellness of the students to those who were without the skills. Optimism techniques were effective to an extent that those who learned skills were safer to develop mental illness and their overall health improved when compared with previous functioning.
