Asterix in Switzerland
1. The tekst is by Goscinny, the drawings by Udurzo and the book is translated by Anthea Bell and Derek Hockridge.
2. The theme’s of this book are: the romans, betrayal, health and wealth
3. The main characters are Asterix, Obelix and Getafix
Asterix: the hero of these adventures. A shrewd, cunning little warrrior; all perilous missions are immediately entrusted to him. Asterix gets his superhuman strength from the magic potion brewed by the druid Getafix…
Obelix: Asterix inseparable friend. A menhir delivery-man by trade; addicted to wild boar. Obelix is always ready to drop everything and go off on a new adventure with Asterix – so long as there’s wild boar to eat, and plenty of fighting
Getafix: the venerable village druid. Gathers mistletoe and brews magic potions. His speciality is the potion which gives the drinker superhuman strength. But Getafix also has other recipes up his sleeve.
4. Asterix and Obelix are in there gaulish village where they doing there job. Meanwhile in the palace of the roman governor Varius Flavus is a party, Quastor Vexatius Sinusitus is also the guest. The governor put a potion in the guest his soup, because he wants to governor him self. The Quastor Vexatius Sinusitus gets very ill.
Asterix and Obelix have to fetch a silverstar, so the druid can make a medicin from it.
This flower grows in Zwitserland. they have to overcome roman soldiers, lake’s, mountans and snow. They found the silverstar. The druid makes the drink and Quastor Vexatius Sinusitus gets better.
5. I think the book is boring because not much happends in this book, i like the other Asterix and Obelix books better.
Chicken Run
1. Retold by Nonia W. Dodd.
2. The theme’s of this book are: escape and farm.
3. The main characters are: rocky, Mr Tweedy and Mrs Tweedy.
Rocky: Is a chicken that every time very happy is and he got a red chanterelle.
Mr Tweedy: is the farmer of the family chicken.
Mrs Tweedy: the angry farmer that hates chickens.
4. Mr and Mrs Tweedy run a chicken farm. On the farm lives a chicken family, they aren’d happy and the want to escape. They try everything: try to fly, they try to run and they try to dig a tunnel but nothing works. Then Rocky goes to fowler and fowler builds a flying machine. Then the whole family escaped.
5. I think its a funny book. The pictures in the book are very funny.
The Secret of the Stones
1. The autor is David Sharpe and the book has no illustrations.
2. The themes of this book are: Traveling through time and adventure.
3. The main characters are: Sue and Paul
Sue: Is a adventurous person, because its her idea to make a walk to the stonehenge.
Paul: Is very curious person, because he wants to know everything about things and live.
4. Sue and Paul are on a bustour. Suddenly the coach was breaken down. They have to wait for one hour fort he next bus to come. They desit to walk to the stonehenge near by. When they look at the stonehenge more closely, they find ther own names on a stone with a face. When they touch there names, the fences and the road disapear. Then a knight on a horse apears. He gives Sue and Paul a bow and a sword. When the knight is gone Sue and Paul hear a little girls scream. When they get to the girl they see that the girl is being atacked by a monster that looks like a wolve. Sue and Paul rescue the girl by killing the wolf. When the wolf is gone, everything looks normal. Than they decide to go back to the bus. They think that they have been gone for a few hours, but in fact it was only 45 minutes. The other coach come to pick them up and they continue their trip.
5. I like the book, because it´s very exciting

And the man just stopped. Then he started to smile. Then he started to laugh.
He laughed for a while.
Then he said, “Come on duck, let’s walk to the store. I’ll buy you some grapes so you won’t have to ask anymore.”
So they walked to the store and the man bought some grapes. He offered one to the duck and the duck said “No thanks”.
“But you know what sounds good? It would make my day.
Do you think this store, do you think this store, do you think this store… has any… lemonade?”
Then he waddled away. He waddled away. He waddled away.
5. My opinion: I like the song because it’s verry funny and the song gets stuck in my head.
