Bill never met his father and his mother continued a career in Nursing therefore he was raised by his grandparents in Hope. His grandparents made sure that Bill Clinton learned to read and write at a young age and by the age of 6 he was able to comprehend a newspaper. As for his teen years, Bill Clinton lived with his mother and his stepdad who later became violent towards bills mother and his child with her. Although it was hectic in his house he still continued to get an education. Bill Clinton has always been a leader, he was class presidents, leader of school band etc. Bill Clinton realized he was meant to have a life of public service after he shook his heroes hand John F. Kennedy. He was willing to scarifies everything in order for him to get an education from Georgetown

This act allowed employees to take unpaid leave for serious medical conditions and pregnancy. Due to this take of action President Clinton became very popular to the public. He was constantly gaining popularity from his views on the national health care system, a middle-class tax cut, a deficit reduction, and a new welfare system.
"Putting People First" was the first presidential campaign slogan of Bill Clinton. During his acceptance of the Presidential Nomination speech he mentioned, “I am a product of that middle class and when I am resident you will be forgotten no more.” Clinton appealed to listeners through his use of ethos through personal experience. While giving his speech Clinton had his listeners in mind the whole time and made them feel like he could give power back to the people. An example of this was when he stated that the election is about putting power back in the people’s hands and putting the governments to the side. Bill Clinton gave people a reason to listen. “I want every person in this hall …… join us in a great new adventure. With these statements Clinton constantly uses words like “us” to show unity and references to a free nation of one. One, representing a country ran by the people for the people. Clinton used his state of Arkansas as a source to help verify his credibility to the public and his nation's vision in the future. Clinton was playing the common sense card, he was able to do it in Arkansas, so I can do it for you too. Clinton also used his schooling to his advantage. He mentioned that he attended Georgetown, Oxford, and Yale Law School. All three of these schools have a very good political reputation. Clinton hoped that with his motivations and credibility through personal experiences and his broad political education, he would be able to satisfy the needs of the nations for a new leader and a new beginning.
