In The Stranger by Albert Camus shows a critical difference among these translations in the book and also the expression of the emotion in for each sentence towards to the end of the novel. It was a crafted story and its was absurdist of a worldview. The Stranger was published in 1942, Camus’s first novel, had told the story of an emotionally young man named Meursault. Camus’s have philosophy image that implies in the novel. In the novel, the reader will view how Meursault attends his mother’s funeral, meets a woman, shoots a man, and receives the death sentence. Camus characterizes Meursault by his reactions to the development the plot and the reader comes to understand the mentality of an illogicalness.

Understanding the novel of this novel, The Stranger, is important to understand its part of the book and the emotion. The Stranger is a novel was translated French into English. The description of this book is not necessarily accurate to the original book like a word can mean a lot of many different things to many different people, and is often misapplied or overapplied to the sentence. In part one of this novel, talking about how Meursault portray the events from the story that almost happened. The scene takes place in when he received a telegram that informs him that his mother’s death. At the beginning when it says "Aujourd'hui, Maman est morte" is the opening sentence of the novel in French but in English translations of the first sentence were said as  'Maman died today'. The person who translated say that it's should be “Today, Maman died” because he thinks that it’s better to direct the character who is Meursault as the developed in the novel. Meursault does not show any emotion to his mother's death, he thinks that the society that he is living right now is in a panic and he believed that physical death represents an end of their life complete like what he meant was every person died anyway.

The second part of the story, the author Camus’s picture the theme of the events of his trial from the jail. After committing to be a murder, Meursault struggles against society’s attempts through his attitudes and action. The struggles have demonstrated in Meursault’s battle with the legal system that prosecutes him. Meursault shoots the men for no reason, which lead him to be arrested for murder, when to jail and sentenced to death.

The author Camus’s made the adjustment of the event so that the plot character will highlight his ideology. If the novel were set the story in the modern day, we must also understand the importance of The Stranger plot and characters. Throughout this novel, the character Meursault is trustworthy about his feeling even though he does not hide any feeling about his mother’s death. At the trial, even if he doesn’t have sense any of reaction about his mother’s death, people seem that he is a bad person of a damage because he doesn’t care about his mother than killing another person’s life. He doesn’t know any of difference between the good or bad thing of his own mind. If he changes his reaction, it might change on how people look at him.  The character of Raymond has played a huge role in this novel. If Raymond doesn’t show up in front Meursault, things will change. Raymond draws Meursault into conflict with “the Arab,” and eventually Meursault kills the Arab with the gun. Which lead to Meursault into the conflict that eventually results in Meursault’s death sentence. This responsibility on Raymond’s part is symbolized by the fact that he gives Meursault the gun that Meursault later uses to kill the Arab. However, when Meursault’s became a murder and the court trial bring understand the indifference of the world.

If this book is published in modern society now, it may interpret Meursault in any ways like as an emotionless murder or may believe that he is to be considered mentally ill. Right now the society now had been evolving and people’s perspectives and ways of functioning in social life are changing over time. However, all the countries, cities do not move at the same pace. In America, this book may be considered interesting, but if this book is published in a place where people are religious may perceive the book differently. Especially in language, every language has its own unique structure and grammar. For an instant, comparing the French version to the English version of the book, there are differences in structuring and grammar. The English version may have reconstructed the sentence into a broader version.

After finish, this novel, the character, and the plot have demanded a lot of the attention. Like how Meursault is psychologically imaging from the world that is surrounding him. Even if the event is very important, he doesn’t care such as his mother’s death which he doesn’t cry at all. He doesn’t believe in god and kills a man that he barely knows. Which lead his crime threat to society and sentenced to death. When he knows that he will be sentenced to death, he accepts finds peace with himself and with the society that persecutes him. Throughout this novel, Meursault figures out his own thoughts and perceptions, when he went to jail. In the beginning, he does not attempt to understand people thoughts and feeling. Now he knows the irrationality of the world universe and the importance of the physical world.
