Introduction
Following their defeat in World War I, Germany was subjected to the Treaty of Versailles, which resulted in the loss of 13% of their European territory, one-tenth of their population, and the loss of all of their foreign colonies. These conditions angered the majority of German citizens and their leaders, causing resentment toward the victors of World War I, (The United States, Great Britain, and France). The man that then took the position of chancellor to lead them was Hitler with his reign countries such as Denmark, Poland, and Austria were invaded for various reasons such as to give them a strategic edge in world war 2 such as the invasion of Denmark, the desire for more land which was the reason for the for the invasion of Poland. With history everything is a chance when Hitler was younger he really wanted to be an artist but gave it up to serve in the bavarian army. This leads to the question what would have happened if hitler pursued in art or was killed while serving in the amy. He has impacted our society with the effects of the holocaust and world war 2 forever and without these effects the world's economy, social and cultural aspects along with political treaties and organizations in Germany would never be the same
Social Effects
Hitler was elected chancellor on January 30, 1933 with his reign came many social aspects due to WW2 and the holocaust. If hitler would have never been elected chancellor the probability of the US entering the war due to lack of a holocaust would’ve slimmed. This effect would’ve never cause the large amount of men leaving their jobs to enroll in the military leaving absent jobs to be filled by women and an uneven sex distribution in the countries. This would’ve never had the impact of the social change and acceptance and began the integration of women into the workforce. After WW2 many men returned from war and wanted to start a life and this max influx of people caused a boom in marriages along with a boom in the babies being born. This allowed for a younger generation to support the older generations after retirement without this the USA would have most likely fallen into a declining or aging population sooner. If Hitler was never elected chancellor the holocaust also would have never happened most likely leading to more diversity in the society. The holocaust was the mass killing or the Jewish, people from political parties and anyone not of aryan race (white, blonde hair, blue eyes), without the holocaust these people would still be more prevalent and most like wouldn't have fled the country for freedom or forced to flee. With these people still around one another in germany and areas invaded by germany they could have had babies with people with different backgrounds or with people of their own background continuing to grow their ethnic population.
Cultural Effects
Judaism would be more prevalent in European society; because their population wouldn’t have been cut
World War II greatly suppresses German Nationalism. With Hitler out of the picture, German Nationalism would be vast, especially since it wouldn’t have been divided into West and East Germany
Political Effects
One of The political effects of if hitler never became chancellor is that WW2 would have never happened. One of the main factors that contributed to the start of WW2 was Hitler's rise to power and his nazi germany. Hitler challenged many of the countries that surrounded germany and fought with them until the eventual entrance of the United States into the war because of Japan bombing Pearl harbor. So if hitler never became chancellor then WW2 would have never taken place.
Another effect of if hitler never came to power is israel would have never formed. It is very evident that WW2 and hitler caused mass tension throughout the world. As a result of the rising tension the arab-israeli war happened and in 1948 the state of israel was established and both world powers the United States and Russia acknowledged its existence. Another political effect of if hitler never became chancellor is that germany would have never split. Germany split into east and west germany in 1945 after the allies defeated the axis powers. The US, france, great britain and many other countries came into agreement that Germany had to be split and in the process they dismantled Germany's military to make sure that they would not ever have a repeat of WW2.
One more effect of if hitler never became chancellor is that there would have been no Nazis in Germany or anywhere in the world at that time.
