responsible were named
Hasib Hussain,- Shehzad Tanweer,- Mohammad Sidique Khan – Germaine Lindsay –
Hasib Hussain, was responsible for detonating the fourth bomb which was actually supposedly meant to be detonated on the northern line but instead on the double decker bus number 30 at 9:47am, 57 minutes after the other 3 bombs went off. He was at a 57 minute delay due to the fact that his device was not working, because of this, he rustled round the whole of London purchasing a 9 volt battery in the process, before finally going through with his detonation taking thirteen lives as well as his own . Shehzad Tanweer, Tanweer was responsible in detonating a bomb while travelling eastbound on the Circle Line between Liverpool Street and

The suicide attacks occurred at around midday at Shepherd's Bush, Warren Street, Oval stations on the London Underground, and on London Buses route 26 in Bethnal Green. Killing 52 and injuring 700, This was significant because it opened other countries eyes to understand how easy it was for these four terrorists to get into such highly regarded secured places and cause destruction and killings. This attack not only warned other countries about there safety with terrorism but also influenced them to recheck there security

From this we can understand that the London Bombings of 2005 was a huge impactor for other countries to look upon due to the fact that this was such an un prepared attack.
Causes of the event
The major cause of this event was there religious beliefs, a building of Stratford Street Mosque was the first thing that came to mind as three of the four bombers all attended there,At the mosque they taught many things including Islamic literature . The Four islamic terrorists that were identified and responsible for the bombings were presumed to have all met at this place, which was believed to have been the start to the plan of the 7/7 bombings. Since they are all British Born it was very surprising for them to all of a sudden turn on there birthplace in such a horrific way. Also Hamara Youth Access Point, was set to be where Mohammad received his recruitment into their cult.

This had a major role in the London Bombings as it was basically the foundation and the beginning of the horror that was to unfold on the 7 of July 2005.
However this was not the only cause of the event as the UK government also had a main responsibility in this occurring. It was said that the 7/7 bombings was also committed due to the poor UK government decisions and its past relationship with the Middle East. In fact many speculate that the bombings where somehow linked to the conflicts between the British empire and the middle east. The British empire was noticed as responsible for sowing the seeds of global tension, conflict and wars,

many of which still continue to rage on. Because of this they have had many troubles with terrorism and power struggles throughout time. This was a major cause as it impacted many of society to turn to the UK government for someone to blame, the fact that it

was so easy for these men to inflict terror on the UK in such horrific way in an instance is outrageous and just shows how in control the government really is during this security outbreak.
The last known cause actually comes from one of the bombers..Germaine Lindsay actually had a complete different path then the other men involved. He had been influenced by someone else, his wife western worlds most wanted terrorist Samantha Lewthwaite. Also known as the white widow, Lewthwaite is highly wanted in Kenya and across the world being accused of killing over 400 people she was said to be a major cause of the attack and had been involved in the bombings by contributing in helping these men go through with there mission. She has since the event exposed herself as an al-Qaeda operative with al-Shabaab in Somalia.

This attack had a major tole on the people of the United Kingdom, not only did it take 52 innocent lives the 700 that survived where scared for the rest of there lives. Many people still have mental instabilities today due to the pain and horror they inflicted on that day. The victim in the photo named Sudhesh Dahad was one from many victims that where able to escape on that horrible days and left with the nightmares and flashbacks of the 7/7 bombings. Risk analyst Sudhesh Dahad was on the Piccadilly Line train the day of the bombing, and standing just six metres from him was one of the four suicide bombers Germaine Lindsay. When explaining what happened he described the wreckage as “Dante’s Infernoâ€. He explained that life after the bombing was hard and it took many appointments and checkups to get his mental state back to
Photo- Carriage Wreckage normal, and the facts don’t lie, Health Protection Agency said 80% of survivors received counselling, and others were referred to specialist post traumatic stress disorder services.
“ I thought I was dead, and it was some kind of afterlife. From the sounds, I imagined it was people clawing, trying to get help, trying to pull themselves out of some kind of fire pit. Then I realised I was alive.â€
-Dahad
The London bombings was very significant as it effected the life of many innocent commuters including Sudesh Dahad , many have spoken to media saying that the day has consumed everything they do and they can’t escape it work, home life, health, finances. There was nothing that they didn’t

worry about and blow out of proportion in my head. It was affecting there sleep too and the whole thing became one vicious circle. From this I can classify Sudhesh Dahads story as a prime example of how the London Bombings effected a persons life.
significance to New Zealand
The London Bombings was very significant to New Zealand in many ways. Once significance noticed was actually related to a victim in the bombing killings. Shelley Mather, 26 New Zealand born was one of the 52 victims that was killed during the attack. This death in the past was significant to New Zealand of current day because it teaches them that this can happen to anyone at anytime including people from the small country of New Zealand. From this we can understand that Shelly Mathers death had a huge impact on the whole of New Zealand because it changed NZ’s perspective on terrorism, This was immediatley seen when 6 Auckland Islamic mosques were attacked and vandalised only 3 days after the 7/7 occurred. They where graffitied and labeled on the walls were “Londoners RIPâ€This attack was a true example of what
Photo-Shelley Mathers effect this death had on the community of New Zealand and how islamic, muslims can be seen differently just because of what someone else from there same religion, culture, background have done.
This was however not the only way New Zealand was related with the bombings. Because of its occurrence it not only startled The United Kingdom society but also many other countries in the world. This was significant to New Zealand because it completely redefined the word ‘security’ in there eyes. New Zealand took the bombings as a warning. A warning to take control and

know exactly who they are letting into there country. It changed the safety regulations and how New Zealand operated in secured places.
“ The inaugural New Zealand National Security Conference hosted by Massey University’s Centre for Defence and Security Studies in Auckland on 30–31 August 2016 provided an opportunity for government agencies, academia, the corporate sector and wider society to come together to discuss New Zealand’s security from an international, national and societal perspective.â€
From this the world is able to understand how the London Bombings of 2005 played a significant role in impacting the whole of New Zealand. It was able to not only influence change in perspective of a culture altogether but also change law which is a drastic measure for a country to take. This then shows how much 7/7 really effected society in the past to the present day and teaches people how much an event can change the world in an instant and inflict change, conflict and opinion.
