Paste your essay in here…The Industrial Revolution was a turning point in history that set off future events and practices that continue today. The changes that came from the Industrial Revolution touched not only the factories and mechanized working conditions but created changes throughout society. It also allowed for future revolutions to take place because it changed the expectations of the people. The Industrial Revolution could be felt throughout the working environment, in societal beliefs, religion in relation to evolution, and paved the way for future movements.

The Industrial Revolution completely changed the working environment for people, both during the period and in the future. A few factors aided in bringing about the change, like tariffs, efficiency, and demand. Business owners wanted to get around steep tariffs. Also, the lower classes now felt that they should have a voice in their lives and be able to use products that the upper class did. The businesses owners felt this push for products and utilized the use of factories to meet the demand. The creation of the work line came into being and is still used in modern factories today to create an extensive quantity of products. The efficiency that was created has been the goal of businesses since.  The use of steam power, both for the creation of the railroad and boats, produced transportation that is still used today in order to move products. Finally, one of the most important changes about the business environment was that it was not just in one place. The desire to create these factories and workhouses in order to increase productivity as well as revenue was found in many places including the United States, across Europe, and in the areas these places controlled.

Societal beliefs changed greatly throughout the Industrial Revolution, both empowering some while displacing others. The Industrial Revolution gave way to the middle-class idea of life. These people would no longer stand for being considered lower than their wealthier counterparts. They wished to purchase what the businesses were now able to swiftly create due to the revolution. Displacement occurred with craftsmen because the focus was now not on the art, but on the ability to have the mass-produced item. The new ideas about how society and the government could function were very important at the time and still are. Liberalism, socialism, nationalism, anarchism, romanticism, and communism are all types of ideologies that are heard about in modern day. The adoption of these different ideologies has occurred throughout the world, with varying levels of success, acceptance, and change.

However, all of the societal and ideological changes were not welcomed by all people. There was a growing resistance against such beliefs and changes in belief, especially in the area of evolution. When Charles Darwin developed the theory of evolution, he set off another chain of events that continues to shape the future and what we know about the past. Since the theory of evolution moved away from the Bible’s teachings, people around the world refused to accept it. The United States was very much against the theory of evolution, as were other countries. Darwin’s theory of evolution found a strong enough hold to last until people were able to consider it completely and rationally. Today, evolution is still debated but the evidence of it is there. It has allowed us to learn more about our history and where we came from as human beings.

Finally, the Industrial Revolution’s effect on the future has allowed for different types of revolutions to occur. With the mechanization of most products, the business world has reached out and connected almost the entire world through products. The Industrial Revolution made it possible for the progression of technology. As technological advancements occurred, the desire to create them quicker, cheaper, and on the largest scale possible happened. An example of this would be the creation of weapons and vehicles for the militaries in almost all countries. The amount of weaponry has made war an even larger scale issue that it was before the Industrial Revolution. The creation of vehicles and the use of the assembly line has allowed for the huge production of cars. The improvements on cars has been driven by the Industrial Revolution’s push to make a better product to increase consumerism. Modern day has seen the rise of computers and technology allowing us to connect to people around the world. Much like the Industrial Revolution connected people through trade and working, computers allow people in modern day to do the same. The existence and desire to have computers is also similar to the product demand of the industrial revolution. The original computer was huge and not everyone could have one. However, everyone wanted this new technology and the demand spurred the evolution of the computer into a pocket-sized phone. This shows the influence of the Industrial Revolution on modern society.

The Industrial Revolution continues to have effects on people’s lives and attitudes even today. This will probably also continue into the future. The Industrial Revolution transformed productivity, realizing the philosophy of supply and demand. It brought about the change in societal beliefs and ideologies, giving modern day the basis of current ideologies. The theory of evolution has allowed us to learn more about who we are and who we might be later on in the future. Ultimately, the Industrial Revolution was the most impactful event in history.
