Playing brings benefits to children and the selected materials can help to enhance the skills as well as to promote growth and development (Greve, 2013). Playing and learning connected through prepared materials and planned activities regardless indoor or outdoor. The materials and the resources are part of the children experience in the lesson. The toys, schedule, space and interaction provide children immense learning opportunities with the teacher and peers. There is no right and wrong answer to prepare the play materials once there are safe and match to different appropriate stages of development. However, teacher should prepare a rich assortment of resources and materials for children to develop physically, socially and cognitively (Bird & Edwards, 2014).
