1. Introduction
Weight management
Weight management is a long-term approach to healthy balance lifestyle. That includes a healthy balance eating plan and being physical active daily.
Weight management is a serious problem worldwide and every person struggles with their weight. The risk of being overweight can lead to serious problems and disease like the following:
' Heart problems
' Obesity
' Diabetics
' Can have problems when pregnant or try to get pregnant
' Cancer
There are a lot of diets and eating programme to help but I person need to stay motivated and positive to achieve a person's ideal weight. There are natural holistic ways to help the body but it takes longer time. There are also surgical procedures that can help but it is very pain full and cost a lot of money.
2. Clients lifestyle
Client is Ilze van den Berg. I am 21 years old and I a Somatologie student at Centurion Academy. I work part time at a salon to finish my hours and to gain more practical experience. I live in Boksburg with my mother and grandmother. I am a middle child have an older sister and younger brother that also lives with us.
Sins the age of 6 years old I was diagnosed with ADHD. At the age of 9 a started to drink Ritalin and at a later stage I went on to Conserta tablets. I stopped at the age of 17 I decide I don't won't to drink the tablets any more.
I am single, friendly, hardworking, impatient, organized, and caring and love to work with people to make them feel better about themselves.
Stress is also a serious concern and can also have an effect on the body.
The main reason why I struggle with my weight is also that I am a compulsive eater. I struggle with my weight and my stomach problem I have irregular bowel syndrome and also 1 gallstone I know of. My menstruation is also irregular I was on Yaz and I try the injection for a while and for the last few months a stopped.
I am currently on a health eat plan and at a dietician Corlia Hattingh Jozi's diets. I started on the 7 May 2015 with my eating plan, a weight at 108 kg when a started. And every week a will weigh myself to see if I have lose weight.
I feel more confidante and better about my body and how I look.
My ideal weight is 78 kg I need to lose about 30 kg of body fat to reach my target.

3. Exercise
I do not exercise extremely like going to the gym or any fitness classes.
The only exercise I get is when walking with the dogs in the afternoon in our complex.
I need to start exercising it will help improve weight loss and to relive stress and tension in my body.
Exercise will also lower the risk of disease and problems.
I exercise plan for beginners for a week:

4. Diet
Before a started with my new eating plan I was not on a healthy diet. I will eat sweets and bread and food that does not make my full, I will eat a lot more than I am supposed to eat.
The first week is hard because you need to weigh all your food to get use to the portion size.
The rules of the eating plan are:

5. Supplements
The body needs additional amount of supplement, to help with support that the body doesn't consume in food.
Medication that I am currently taken at the moment is Spasmopep for my stomach and know and an again I will drink vitamin C and slow magnesium tablets.

Herbs are a plant with leaves, flowers and seeds that are used for food flavouring/ spices and medicine. Herbs are a natural source.
Garlic is a natural antibiotics and will help to strength the immune and protect body from cancer.

7. Treatments at a salon
Treatment at a salon will help to improve your body and a feeling of well-being.

Aromatherapy massage will help the different oils used have different effects on the body and mind.
Slimming treatment will help to assist with weight loss 4-12 treatment recommending
Slimming wrap for the body with detoxing wraps will help to remove toxins and excessive fluid retention in the body.
