Great men are always known for that work either it may be good or bad. It is very hard to understand their thoughts and their opinions. They are extraordinary people who look the world in different angles. Their life is an example for us. They are ferocious in thoughts than their physical appearance. Their lesson to the world is huge. Their childhood like is a contrast to their youth life because their passion for changing their environment and the situation had made them strong personalities. The most admiring personalities and their life journey are discussed which gives us a strength to face our problems courageously. Your own resolution to change the world is always better than other’s resolution.
Mother Teresa
The founder of Missionaries of charity who spent her life in helping the poor and the needy was born on 26th August 1910 in Skopje. She came to India in 1929 and started working as a school teacher. She started her service to the poor on 1948. He opened a home for the people suffering from leprosy. The lady who dedicated her life to the service of the poor and needy. She died on 5th September 1997. She was awarded Nobel peace prize in 1979 and was canonized on 17th December 2015. She was praised by John Paul II that, where she got this abundant strength and perseverance to completely dedicate her life to the service of the people?
Indira Gandhi
The best saying which suits her is Forgiveness is a virtue of the brave. She wholeheartedly forgave the man who killed her. Indira Gandhi was the daughter of the India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. She was born on 19th November 1917 in Allahabad. During an interview with Rabindranath Tagore, she was named Priyadarshini and thereafter was called as Indira Priyadarshini Gandhi. She was considered the 20th-century Stateswoman and the First female Prime Minister of India. The patriotic woman who is well known for her leadership died on 31st October 1984 in New Delhi.

Christopher Columbus is considered the Discoverer of America. He was born on October 31st, 1451 in Genoa. He had totally made four voyages in his lifetime. He was very much patriot to his country. The man of art who mesmerized people with his writing was born on April 26th, 1564 in England. He is the national poet of England. His golden period of writing is 1589 – 1613. His famous plays include Macbeth, King Lear, Othello, Hamlet and it is also considered his finest work. He is well-known for his romantic writings. He died on 23rd April 1616 in the United Kingdom. The famous quote of William Shakespeare is Love all, trust few, do wrong to none.

The man who is well-known as a great innovator was born on 14th March 1879 in Germany. Some of his extraordinary inventions are mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2, the general theory of relativity, classical mechanics and many more. He was honoured with Nobel Prize in Physics in 1921 for his contribution to theoretical physics. During the last phase of his life in the hospital, he said, I wish to go and I don’t want to extend my life artificially. I have perfectly done my work and it is time for me to go. He died on 18th April 1955 in the United States.
Mahatma Gandhi
The non-violence activist was born on 2nd October 1869 in Porbandar. He is well-known as the Father of India. He had organized many freedom struggle movement against the British, but all his freedom movements were against violence. He was ready to fast till his life ends in order to get freedom for India. He worked for untouchability and child marriage. He was assassinated to death on January 30th, 1948 in New Delhi. The famous quote of Mahatma Gandhi is Live as if you were to die tomorrow; learn as if you were to live forever.
Adolf Hitler
The dictator of Germany was born on April 20th, 1889 in Hungary. His aggressive policy led to the cause of World War II. He is the leader of the Nazi government. His motto is Destroy everyone by all and any means because I am the one who will wage the war. He was a great orator and stirred the patriotic feelings of his people through his furious speech. He did suicide and killed himself on April 30th, 1945 in Germany.
Nelson Mandela
The first president of South Africa was born on July 18th, 1918 in South Africa.  He was imprisoned for 27 years and brought freedom to his country. He fought for the rights and justice of his black people. He was against discrimination and racial oppression throughout his life. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1993.He followed the principle which he used to say frequently, a real leader should be ready to sacrifice everything for the freedom of his people. He died on December 5th, 2013 in South Africa.
Bill Gates
The discovery of his technology is used in all the fields. This great man was born on October 28th, 1955.in Washington. He changed the technology of the entire world with even holding a degree. He is the best exemplary to all the young minds that, innovations are born out of creativity than knowledge. He owns Microsoft the billion dollar company which rule the entire world. He is a good writer and had published two books such as The Road Ahead and Business @ the Speed of Thought. He always encourages leadership and had said, the next century ahead of us will have perfect leaders to empower others. He is well-known as the brain man who brought the unique technology to rule the world
Steve Jobs
The man who created a revolution in the mobile technology was born on February 24th, 1955 in California. He is the CEO of Apple Inc and also the Board member of The Walt Disney Company. He became a millionaire due to the success of the Apple invention. He also founded NeXT Inc and Pixar. He was honoured with his statue at Graphisoft Park in Budapest. The crazy iPhones are known for its design and its feel, but the innovator of iPhone says, Design doesn’t end with the look and the feel instead it is all about how it works. He died on October 5th, 2011 in California due to pancreatic cancer.
Thus, these personalities were completely unique and their life is an exemplary to all of us. Their courage to change the world in spite of facing many struggles had brought the glory to them. They selflessly worked for the people and their society. They accepted all pains and shame for the sake of their people which made them reach a great height. Their hard work and perseverance gave them the reward.
