‘ Wireless technology has been tremendous progress over the last few years. The ever use of increasing use of wireless networks. The demand for wireless technology increasing not only in industrial application but also for domestic purposes.
‘ Mobile Phones and the related technologies are becoming more and more ubiquitous. Various technical arenas in the field of Telecommunication and Embedded Systems have come very near to the common people. The number of people with cell phones is on the rise. A day will come, somewhere in the near future, when a mobile phone is referred to in the same class of Food, clothing and shelter”. Improvements in the Networking technologies have fostered growth of very dense networks. Land line telephones have been becoming less and less popular and people now prefer communicating while on the move.
‘ A Remote Control is perhaps the most popular gadget today. Right from the intense creativity of remotely controlling laser chip markers to the highly destructive remotely ignitable bombs, from the pins to the planes, remote control is not only occupying a omnipresence state, but is also enhancing its scope and domains.
When people have a good connectivity at their disposal, with tremendous power of mobile computing to supplement the same, we can think of connecting their home appliances to a mobile phone wirelessly. With this, people would be able to turn on and off, and to some extent, control the appliances at their home even from a distant place. One of the very basic examples of an utility of this is switching on the air conditioner in the room just some time before reaching home, so that the room is sufficiently cool by then. The usefulness of a long range remote control to home appliances has no limits. A setup facilitating such a thing would be to connect the home appliances to a microcontroller interfaced to a GSM modem that receives the controls from the user, the means of sending signals to the appliances being a mobile phone.
This project is an implementation to the idea of the wireless communication between a mobile phone and a microcontroller.
Introduction to GSM :
(Global System for Mobile Communications), is a standard developed by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to describe protocols for second generation (2G) digital cellular networks used by mobile phones. It is the default global standard for mobile communications with over 90% market share, and is available in over 219 countries and territories.
‘ Computer software includes computer programs, libraries and their associated documentation. The word software is also sometimes used in a more narrow sense, meaning application software only. Software is stored in computer memory and cannot be touched i.e. it is intangible.
Introduction to BLUETOOTH :
‘ Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard for exchanging data over short distances (using short-wavelength UHF radio waves in the ISM band from 2.4 to 2.485 GHz) from fixed and mobile devices, and building personal area networks (PANs). Invented by telecom vendor Ericsson in 1994. It was originally conceived as a wireless alternative to RS-232 data cables. It can connect several devices, overcoming problems of synchronization
‘ Bluetooth is managed by the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG), which has more than 20,000 member companies in the areas of telecommunication, computing, networking, and consumer electronics. Bluetooth was standardized as IEEE 802.15.1, but the standard is no longer maintained. The SIG oversees the development of the specification, manages the qualification program, and protects the trademarks. To be marketed as a Bluetooth device, it must be qualified to standards defined by the SIG. A network of patents is required to implement the technology, which is licensed only for that qualifying device.
The aim of the invention relates to an electronic system for implementing an optimized way to provide information from a first electronic device to a second portable electronic device by utilizing a notice board using a wireless technology.
Notice board is primary thing in any institution or organization or public utility places like bus stops, railway stations or parks. But sending various notices day to day is a tedious process. This paper deals with advanced notice board. Many of places notice board using a wire network to transmit the data to LED .It is complicated job to transport or set the same notice board at different place. So all this problem can be overcome by this project.
NEED FOR WIRELESS NOTICE BOARD :
‘ Time Saving: We can deliver the message instantly to any remote destination and as it is displayed in general the time is saved.
‘ Convenient: since the message is displayed in common it becomes economical and the delay in the message delivery is avoided.
‘ Multiple message and notice boards controlled from a single location.
‘ As we know in industry there are so many departments like account, designing, maintenance, research & development production etc.
‘ The above mentioned departments are interconnected with each other. All the department depends on one another for example production department is dependent on designing; production department is also dependent on accounts.
‘ The basic problem of this industry is communication. The entire department communicates manually.
‘ While visiting certain industries we noticed certain problems like problem in production, maintenance, internal communication between the departments.
‘ After watching the problem we have made interaction between certain members of the industries like managers, service engineers, technicians.
‘ While interacting with the members they told us the main and rising problem of industries is internal communication between the departments.
‘ They suggested us to do something about the rising problem of the industries.
‘ Communication means send data or message from one place to another place and to ensure that the message is received properly and understood as per the requirement.
‘ In communication system one block is transmitter and other block is receiver.
‘ In large scale industry the basic way of communication is complicated and small scale industry way of communication is easy.
‘ The basic problem of communication arises is in industry due to the large area and long communication distance. So we are trying to solve the problem.

Operation of this project:-
‘ When power supply connected to the circuit- project it will take some time for initialization about 5 to 10 seconds.
‘ Then both the modem GSM modem and BLUETOOTH modem will search for to establish a connection.
‘ A green light ‘ led will starts blinking fast. which shows that GSM modem searching for its network. When led blinking become slower indicates that it is connected to network provided by SIM card company which we are using in our project.
‘ At the same time Bluetooth modem will also searching for the device which wants to connect and transfer the required data.
‘ When initialization process completes the user can send the data and see the results on the notice board.
‘ DsPICC30F3014 which is heart of the system will decides to transfer the data arriving from mobile user or BT modem.
‘ An authorized user can send the data to the GSM modem connected to the circuit it.
‘ Message sent from any mobile device will first compared to the registered mobile number in the controller.
‘ If any unauthorised person send the message then controller will check it is registered or not. If not it will not send the message to the DISPLAY.
‘ Same way for short distance application anyone who have BLUETERM + android application can send the data to the NOTICE BOARD if microcontroller allow to do so.
‘ Here to connect with BLUETOOTH modem user have to first pass though security code provided by the modem. If user is fails to connect, than communication terminated.
‘ So ultimately it is easy to send data to wireless notice board with high security application.
Now in current time system in hospitals doctors have to go to each individual patient room and have to check and collect the all the details of the patient like BP(blood pressure),Heart beat rate and body temperature.
Doctor have to each patients room and check and collect the details like BP(blood pressure),Heart beat rate and body temperature But sometimes patients disease infections it is good to avoid the direct contact with the patient And it is difficult to handle the many patients at the same time and to care for them.
‘ A place in the hospital where very ill patients are monitored very closely.
‘ The patients in the ICU need a constant monitoring of their Temperature and heart beat.
‘ This project is a working model, which incorporates sensors to measure important parameters namely the Temperature, Respiratory temperature and Heart Beat.
‘ The patient can be analyzed by doctors in any part of the hospital wherever they are.
‘ Even when the patient is in an unconscious condition, all the parameters will be sensed and doctor will be cautioned, thus it reduces doctor’s workload and also gives more accurate results.
‘ Thus it reduces doctors work load and also gives more accurate results.
‘ We have also incorporated saline monitoring system which gives an alarm when the saline bottle about to empty.
