How are happiness and morality related?
In our society the connection between happiness and morality can be shown in many different ways on how they can connect, why they do and how it has any regards with our day to day lifestyle. Society can cause a very heavy impact on how we live, act, and how we behave among others, but also on how we seek improvement among ourselves. Morality has come from the common principles of whether we are choosing right from wrong behavior. On the other hand, happiness is a feeling that derives from contentment and a sense of well-being and joy. They correlate with each other by having societal perspectives and self-improvement.
People go throughout a series of questioning about their self-worth and certain questions about themselves. Based on the society we live in today it gives people multiple reasons to treat and love others, as well as, themselves with accordance. Peoples' moralities will change if they realize if it isn't morally liked or accepted. People will continuously go through this cycle of denial until they start to think ethically. I strongly believe that humans that think ethically, logically, mentally, etc. can play a big part of how our minds work. If you believed that you did the right thing, wouldn't you believe that it should be accepted by society as a whole? In the world we live in today, society cares too much about what people think of them. In addition to,

the likes, dislikes, and peoples' comments. We pride ourselves in being apart of something greater yet we continuously bag on others the same way.
Philosopher Socrates and Glaucon explain and teach us about how morality acts upon our best-self interest (Boss 237,238) . Philospher Glaucon speaks about how morality and justice cannot guarantee our happiness, but that they are only surface benefits. Glaucon tries to tell Socrates about the certain key claims. The key claim that is explained is that “individual happiness is the greatest moral good, and that people out to pursue their rational self-interests” (Boss 238). Socrates eventually acknowledges Glaucon's claim that it is morally acceptable for people to do things in their best interest. As well as, people should start putting themselves before others because it is always important to go after your self-interest (Boss 238).
Self-Improvement and Happiness have a strong connection. They both strongly affect our senses of confidence, our self-esteem, and how we feel towards our neighborhood network. Web-based social networking is continually changing, and as people we need to adjust while likewise being separated of it. Through the different stages, we see that there is different upkeep with physical and psychological wellness, at the same time endeavoring to be cheerful. Continually attempting to better yourself, for example, yearly checkups, treating ourselves to excursions, going out with companions; these all have a brilliant part towards our inside satisfaction. Web based life and personal growth can turn into a solid factor yet it's about how we see ourselves first.
There are no direct truths that can prove if someone is morally right or wrong. For example, " Can most people be moral?" " Are these people happy?". Ethical subjectivism can

tell say that people can't be mistaken if they are right or wrong. Are most people moral? Are those people happy? There are is no way to prove someones morslity everything is based off of mostly opinion and feelings. For example, some children might like the color purple and some of them might think it is ugly. Both sides of the children based their decisions upon their feelings. In my point of view, no one can know their fully potential of happiness to enlightment.
Ethics begin at home, they get from people we hang around, surroundings, and many more. Originating from a home that was settled on being good and respectable. Are many people moral? We are educated to speak, dress, act, and request to a specific culture and custom. The vast majority endeavor to think consistently in view of day by day circumstances that we up close and personal with. Am I happy? Am I moral? I have confidence in an existence of consume first, learn later. I feel just as on the off chance that we do everything morally right, we will never figure out how to do this thing called "life". I have learned to balance the three things most important to me: body, personality, and my soul. Everything needs to do with the manner in which you see the world in your own point of view with my beliefs yet; likewise winding up nearer to god has helped me adapt to my battles regardless of what the issues.
"The Principle of Utility and utilitarianism have different contentions about how more noteworthy's benefit/ethical quality is utilized. They are more along the lines of future looking " (Boss 271). Bentham once expressed that nature has placed mankind under the governance of two sovereign masters, pain and pleasure. It is for them alone to point out what we ought to do.Will the craving for happiness and want to develop as individuals be continually utilized with profound quality? Will the general population have the capacity to control their wrong and

influence their rights to succeed vigorously? What does the Principle of Utility need to do with Utilitarianism? "Actions are right in proportion as they tend to promote happiness, wrong as they
tend to produce the reverse of happiness" (Boss 273). In any case, in case of clarifying of all these, What are the key points that go into both of these terms?
Pleaseare and Pain are always used for the desire of growth and happieness that can be assosicated with moralitly. Utilitarians say that pain is bad and pleasure is good but doesn’t some pain have some good that derives from it? For example: If we don't pass our driving test, don't we always want to pass the next one? Or if we missed the school bus, shouldn't we wake up earlier than the usual time? The key points of pleasure and pain is it can have many converations and arguments brought upon this topic. No one is perfect and I truly believe that success can always lead from failure and also, right and wrongs. People improve on themselves, so they can become a better version of themselves. Self-improvement is key for your well-being because it increases positivety and happiense in your lifestyle.
The principle of utility and utilitarianism have a powerful connection in this as well. Before the action is played out, they want to make sure that their intentions are pure at first. “Most philosophers believe that intentions are important when judging the morality of a action” (Boss 273). Some people do good things, in order to get good things in return, which is a form of karma. For example, I give my friends some money because he doesn't have school lunch. But, did this because he wanted something good to happen on later to him down the line. He helped someone that couldn't help themselves, so his intentions were somewhat a good

manner. But, they weren't geninuenly pure because he thought of it as a give and recieve. Utiliy plays a part by calling it "impartial". "If an actions conforms to the principle of utility, it is
morally right; if not, it is morally wrong.” (Boss .273). This principle can be used as the "happiness" principle because it helps us people the concepts towards subjunctive feelings.
4. The two key claim terms that I've discovered in this chapter helped me build up a better understanding. Utilitarianism promotes happiness and it maximizes the utility principle of concept. As it takes after, the key claims of utilitarianism are simply the longing for happiness and spreading the joy and happiness among others. Pain can bring out happiness and pleasure can bring out happiness. Individuals are normally thoughtful and worried about the happiness of others. If you are either right or wrong an action can be determined by its consequences. A morally wrong action can increase unhappiness. The ethical network comprises of every single conscious being. "The Principle of Utility key cases are just activities and practices are just right in the event that they partake in the joy or torment factor" (Boss 273).
5. In conclusion, society is connected between all of the several ideas. Happiness, morality, and utility is a complication of our society. We as a culture and society should connect together because in life we have to portray to the world as "good", because we are too focused trying to put a smile on our faces everyday. But we get so caught up in doing that, we barely have time to utilize for ourselves. As a society, we morally know our rights and wrongs; certain decisions that we make can cause people to be a little triggered. Happiness can make or break a person by trying to do the best for those you love to make them proud. Our loved ones support, appreciate and give us the unconditional love that we so desperately desire. Utliltaranism

come from pain and pleasure, which plays a important role in our happiness and morality. As a people, we all have one thing going for us and that is our drive which, keeps us going like our family, friends, also our surrondings. And even our higher mind (God). So that is how happiness and morality are related.
