The Pain Through Animal Testing
All around the world there are millions of different products being used daily, however very few people think about everything the animal victims had to go through so these people can use the products they love. Animals should not be put through the pain of testing for quotidian products because of the trauma, infection, and physical injury they are left with.
Animal testing has many after effects, one being animals getting sick and not being able to recover from it.“It has been estimated that 14 % of all dogs are diagnosed with bacterial UTI during their lifetime. UTI is less frequent and usually associated with comorbidities in cats” (Damborg). Scientist give animals diseases in reason for them to try and find a cure for it, but many times they don’t. That leaves the animal with the side effects which lead them to be put down.Animal testing is a horrifying crime without making it seem like it. Not many people give attention to the animal victims that can not recover because they are so in love with the products that they are able to get because of their testing.Other researchers also explain how scientist do not show the whole accurate number of animal victims that are killed a year because they are no longer strong enough to fight the pain of the operations.“Record your Recent estimates suggest that at least 100 million animals are used each year worldwide.”(Beck). Barely any people focus on the out cause of animal testing, because all of their attention goes to the unnecessary products they are so eager to get their hands on. After the testing is done they are so content that they forget that the animals are the victims and a lot of the time they will not ever be strong enough to over come the pain they put them through.There are so many products in the world that people can use because animals have no choice than to be tested to make sure it is safe for them, and yet they never get recognized for it. According to other researchers many countries do not even give back a statistic number of the animals that actually give people the products they love.“Full reporting of all animal use is not required or made public in most countries.”(Beck).In many countries they do report a certain amount of animal victims but never the correct full about, but they make it seem as if it were the correct amount.The scientist in certain countries often report a fake amount of animal victim that are used in a year because they do not want to show that they are using more than what many people are expecting. Animal testing is a crime, but scientist do not make it out to seem like it because they do not show the things that happen to the animals who are being tested. Animals get sick from all of the different things they go through while being in the time of testing. Many are not strong enough to continue so the scientist put them down, others just do not make it through the experiment. Not only do animals get sick but they also get traumatized which causes them to be so panicky about everything, even when people are just trying to help them.
Animal testing has outcomes such as animals not being able to forget the process of animal testing which leads them to be mentally scarred and traumatized. “Animals have to live with the side effect and the outcome of any experiments, they are given a sickness with no cure.” (Mone). Along with sickness and pain the animals are given, they do not even get the option of getting painkillers to feel better. The scientists who are in charge of all the experiments are trying to find cures, when they do not find one they give up on the animal and leave it to fight the illness alone. After the procedure the animals receive no therapy but instead are left in the cage to recover as much as possible, alone.“For most of them, their lives (and deaths) occur outside of the law’s protection, with little thought given to their well-being.” (Cassuto) . After the operation, they do not care for them. The scientist only care for the animals because it is a part of their job, but once the animals are no longer capable of being tested, the scientists consider them useless and do not give them the care they deserve. After the animals are so hurt the experimenters do not want to deal with helping them so they put them down. Animals are killed for many products and some are not even important and they do not even get recognized. “Over 9.1 billion land animals are killed in the United States for food each year.”(Cassuto). Many of the food products animals are killed for are not even necessary and humans would be okay without them. They do not limit the amount of animals they use for a certain products, they over use animals for one products. The animals have no other options than to be okay without depending on someone which leaves them traumatized. Animals have no control over how they get treated and it actually both mentally and physically injures them.
Animals get physically injured because of the way the animals are treated during and after the operations. Scientist Damborg says “Get put back in cage without giving painkillers.” The animals are supposed to go through the pain and not get the attention and care they deserve. The expectations of the scientist are for the animals to be able to recover in time to be used again, and recover from everything alone.People realize what the issue is and that it is not right but nobody ever gives it enough attention to change the rules or animal testing.Research Beck states “Despite the attention brought to this issue by Russell and Burch and since, the number of animals used in research and testing has continued to increase, raising serious ethical and scientific issues.” They always talk about helping but they never do. Several individuals complain about the way those animals are being treated, however nobody gives the issue enough attention to get more rights or care for them. Even though they talk about the issue they never do anything to help the animals. There are so many unnecessary products that are made and cause animals to be tested. Mone states that many professionals conclude “reliance on animal testing” has genuinely “hindered the evaluation of many chemicals and ingredients”all over the cosmetics corporation. Scientist put animals in harm because of products that are not in need and do not have much of a positive impact in the human body. Animals are used to be tested for things that can be tested a different way. Animals all over the world are left with physical injuries and the scientist are too worries of the outcome of the products to give them the care and recovery they deserve.
Animals suffer so much because of the illnesses they scientist just give up and leave them with, which eventually ends up killing them. Trama is also a big factor of ways the animals suffer, they get so use to being locked up that they do not know what if feels like to be cared for. People all around the world disagree with the way the animal testing system works but nobody ever stays around enough to make a difference and get the animals the rights they deserve.
