Since school is a place to learn most skills such as writing, reading, and speaking, also school is the place to learn a very important aspect of morality, this research will focus on how to avoid using the unconventional words, especially in high school. When non-native speakers use the language in an informal way, in particular, teenagers, that will confuse them because they don't recognize that they are speaking impolitely. Furthermore, that would make difficulties in differentiating between what is appropriate "formal" and what is inappropriate "not formal." By a survey with a questionnaire divided into two sections, first one is for the English teachers, and another one is for the students; it will be apparent to know considerable rates such as how many English teachers agree with using "slangs," and how many teachers are with ban using them. One the other hand, after getting the students' questionnaire, it will be obvious if students realize and watch their speech or not. Additionally, it will be known what the common words they use and how often they use them. Moreover, an interview will be made with an English teacher of an institute of learning the English language, it's going to be helpful in order to gather more data about the kinds of different speakers of the English language.

Introduction:

English language dictionaries have massive amounts of words, and those words definitely have a clear meaning to be used in a complete meaningful sentence.

In contrary, there are thousands of new entry words in English which they don't exist before. Slangs are spread  so fast, they are used everywhere, especially in social media, and used by all different ages. "Slangs is a language that rolls up sleeves, spits on its hand and goes to work" (Sandburg, C).

Spears, (2001), said that there are 10,000 odd unknown words, and 32,000 definitions of all these words, and lots of expressions deleted from the standard dictionaries, and respectful conversation.

The effect of using slangs is mostly noticeable among the younger students in schools and that certainly affect their acquisition of EFL,  particularly if they don't realize that they are using annoyed informal English. Parents suppose that there are no slangs in school, but, unfortunately, there are lots of them with constant increasing.

This rising of these unacceptable words distracts students and makes them confused for the reason that they have learned them before the essential English words. Furthermore, a weak language will lessen their opportunities in the future in light of the fact that  it's incapable of conveying information from a knowledge. On the contrary, formal English is sufficient to provide all kinds of knowledge that students need.

Speaking slang is not confined to native speakers, it grows to be used excessively by non-native speakers either, who learned English as a second language in all over the world.

Literature review:

It's very obvious that there are three major effective factors of younger students' speech; home, friends, and school. Undoubtedly, school is considered as the most effective factor in the acquisition of EFL.

Usage of slang has turned out to be habits in real life recently. The simplicity of speaking slangs makes it a better choice for some students to use, but it's hard to remove at the same time. Moreover, when students speak informally, most of them don't like this kind of talk, but they only used to speak that way.

According to Wilson (2012), the recent life of slangs is particularly serious about why slang works. It's a type of social grooming, allowing to say the same words in a different way, to keep building a relationship.

And about how informal speech affects students in the classroom, Lytle, (2011), asked this central question; Is social media impact secondary school students in a negative way? Then, he commented that the way students communicate each other on social media, messages on phones or e-mail is creeping into school classrooms. In addition, Lytle put some of the examples that students constantly use. He said that slangs such as IDK (I don't know), and BTW (by the way) become a common sight, and this confuses their teachers who are not certain how to fix this growing problem. "Communication, whether through instant messaging, text messaging, or social media, growing up in a technological era, high school students may be unaware they are using language shortcuts in the classroom" (Sakowicz, 2011). Moreover, the retired teacher, Allie Sakowicz, added that she thought that younger students don't realize that they are doing it, and after using all that social media they don't even think about spelling words right.

Harding, (2015), supported my idea by reporting an opinion of the Labour, MP, Tottenham D. Lammy, who thinks that the ban of slangs is a good idea. And using slang is fine with family and friends, but in school must be a professional, educational environment. He said that he saw young people came for a career interview with disable to use correct English, so, any trying to ban slang must be encouraged.

Reasons behind using of slangs; Why a student use "slang" intentionally?

' Easier to speak:

In some circumstances, students need to be quick to say or reply, or express feelings, like sayings these words (cool, awesome, gonna, gotta, armpit, big mouth, blow, bonkers, wanna, cut or drop a class)

' Faster to write and read notes:

Students who deal with notes, mostly write abbreviations, which are more rapid like: (ASAP, SOS, BRB, OMG, LOL, U, R, CU, RIP.MAX, MIN)

' Avoid being odd:

The majority of students think that if they use formal English, they won't have friends, because of being unlike or complicated. They desire to be social and trying their best to make friendship.

' Trying to be familiar:

To be a member of a group, they think that they should speak similar to them just to be liked.

  Although these reasons may convince the readers, but in my opinion, as a non-native speaker, I believe that  it's possible to alter this horrible habit. With determination, patience and dedication, the reduction of using slang will be inevitable. Additionally,  it's extremely significant to feel serious and takes the following strategies into account;

Strategies to reduce the usage of informal English among younger students:

' A student herself should be aware and conscious:

An ambitious student with self-confidence and desire to learn with an intention to be a better person, will feel serious and be ready to stop speaking slangs. In this field, a student possibly changes her habits, such us, in place of using not useful applications, she can substitute them for scholastic superior applications. Additionally, the ridiculously awful movies could be altered to academic programs, which show inventions, animals, geography, science, latest news or traveling.

' Students should support each other:

Students might be divided into many groups, and their teachers should remind them that they take the responsibilities to their own future, if they want better chances in life, that depends on their effort to improve their manner of speech and ignore all terrible habits. Sharing talk will take place in this strategy, also, visiting respectful places will be helpful and motivated for students.

' At  home:

Parents have a fundamental role in learning process throughout their girl life. When parents cooperate with teachers, that absolutely will be given enormous results. Parents can be supportive if they keep reminding their girl to keep away from speaking impolitely while she's talking to older people, teachers and parents.

' At school:

The role of the English teachers is the major role in learning process. English teachers have the biggest noticeable influence on students. So, they can draw students' attention by doing some educational games to build up their vocabulary, such as giving them a new formal word and ask them to put it in a meaningful complete sentence, or giving them a topic and take their opinion about it by avoiding uttering slang. Moreover, teachers can write sentences with slangs and ask students to identify the inappropriate words and rewrite them with conventional correct words.
