And I am going to tell something about Diana Spencer (princess Diana’s) life.

I will talk about her personal life,  marriage with the Prince, her charity because she was very compassionate with sick and poor people (her achievements) which I find, the way she died because there is a lot of different information about the cause of her accident and the death of Diana. We will also tell something about her funeral which was visited by a lot of people and was very emotional.

I hope you enjoy reading!

When she was six years old her parents divorced and had little motherly love, something she later itself was so important for her own children.

From the time her mother had left them they have many nannies, most of which found her a tricky and difficult child. Some children her age did exactly what was asked of them but Diana was different. She was a girl with a lot of spunk and a mind of her own, what also later did not change. She has a child always knew she was different. That she had a purpose in her life and that she needed to accomplish a task.

That’s why she left school at age 16. Diana contrast, was very good at sports especially swimming, netball and tennis. She also took ballet and tap dance lessons.

West Heath encouraged her students to visit the sick and elderly, and soon Diana discovered that her strengths. They spent hours with an old lady and had direct contact with disabled teenagers. After a short stay at an expensive boarding school in Switzerland bought her father on her 19th a small apartment in Kensington in

London.

That apartment she shared with three good friends and finally had it the freedom to do whatever they wanted. She worked three days a week at wealthy acquaintances where she cleaned, served and was a nanny. Then she took a job as an assistant at the Young England nursery where she could work with young children.

Chapter 2: Marriage with the Prince of Wales

At Diana’s first meeting with Prince Charles she walked still in the diapers. They can hardly remember. Her first real meeting with the Prince only came much later when she was 16 years old. Prince Charles then had courtship with her sister Sarah. At the time, she wore no makeup, was chubby and not particularly intelligent but she was a cosmetics and that he found fun. The next meeting took place when she was in July 1980 by friends in Petworth was invited to come and stay there. They sat there on a bale of hay next to Prince Charles and showed her compassion towards him because Earl Mountbatten died. This was followed by a range of dates.

On 6 February 1981 did Charles at Windsor Castle a officiall marriage proposal to Diana. Which said “Yes please” had replied. 3 weeks later the engagement announced. The wedding took place on July 29, 1981. When millions of people applauded them on the balcony of Buckingham place, doubted any second and Diana kissed Charles.  Never before in the history of the English King House was a royal couple kissed in public.

From the beginning of their marriage was already clear that there are major problems had to be solved. Diana wanted the marriage to succeed but during the honeymoon there were cracks in the marriage. That was when Diana became aware of the presence of Michael Parker Bowles in the life of her husband. She was terrified and cried when they one day 2 photos of Michael from agenda fall saw her husband, she had begged him to tell the truth about his feelings for her and for Camilla. Prince Charles ignored her however, when Diana insecure and frightened. So there followed in Diana’s life more common problems and uncertainties about Camilla and the feelings of her husband. The marriage between Prince Charles and Princess Diana went worse. This was not only because of the age difference of about 12 years but also because they had different characters, needs and interests. The couple were followed and the attention the media was constantly indoor especially. After the wedding knew Diana absolutely not what her to expect. And what was expected of her. It was supposed that Diana of all kinds of people was taught but that was not so. No one gave her advice. She did have the feeling she was supported by her husband.

While the fights about Camilla were going on. Diana kept herself ok before the camera’s.  But once home, she was often in tears, because they all failed because there was a lot of pressure on Princess Diana. There by, she suffered from an eating disorder that has several times put on her to a suicide attempt.

After 6 months of being married Princess Diana was pregnant and on 21 July 1982, her first son William born] ( also known as Prince William.  A little over 2 years later, on september 15, her second son Prince Harry born.  The marriage did not go well and they were both becoming more detached from each other. At the end of their relationship they no longer slept together and they tried to avoid each other as much as possible. At the beginning of december 1992 it was decided to divorce.

. Chapter  3: Legacy of Diana

The charity work of Princess Diana, the People’s princess, is very well known. The charity work that she has done has become her legacy and continues on through both of her sons. Prince William and Prince Harry continue to give of themselves, just as their mother did for so many years.

Even after the divorce, Diana maintained a high level of popularity. She devoted herself to her sons and to such charitable efforts as the battle against the use of land mines. Diana used her international celebrity to help raise awareness about this issue. She also continued to experience the negative aspects of fame her 1997 romance with Egyptian film producer and playboy Dodi Al -Fayed stir and created a media frenzy.

Throughout her life Diana was something of a rebel. She was one of the first very high profile people to be pictured touching those afflicted with AIDS this had a significant impact in changing people’s opinions and attitudes to the disease it was certainly a charity not following the protocol and tradition of the Royal family. As Princess Diana said:

‘HIV does not make people dangerous to know. You can shake their hands and give them hug heaven knows they need it’

Diana had a very personable touch. She was very at ease in meeting people from any background and even if they were  ill or in hospitals. The patients would react very favourably to her meetings, they warmed to her life energy and heartfelt sympathy. Part of her appeal was her sympathy and natural compassion. She could empathise with people’s suffering, having suffered much herself.

Chapter 4: Death of Diana

At the end of her life Diana had a relationship with Dodi Al Fayed. Some people did Dodi a total unsuitable partner for the mother of the future King. Dodi was known as a handsome playboy who of fast cars and beautiful women. Others felt right that Diana and Dodi fit together very well and that they were much in love. Diana was with Dodi had in him the man really happy and found where they have always been looking for. Their relationship became known when photos in the tabloid press were of Princess Diana and her two sons on the yacht of Dodi’s father in the Mediterranean Sea. When Diana had brought her 2 sons back home after she flew to France back to 5 days on the yacht of Dodi’s father. At that time she was truly happy for the first time and confirmed that during a telephone conversation to a very good friend of hers: Cindy Crawford. She called her up from the yacht and told: “for the first time in my life I can truly say that I am completely happy. Dodi is a fantastic man. He gives me a great deal of attention and care. I feel so loved by him “.

The day after that phone call came on 35-year-old age along with Dodi in a car crash in Paris. Dodi and Diana had at 00:30 the hour the upscale Ritz-hotel in Paris left. The whole world was shocked. All within a few hours after Diana’s death flows sympathy within of princes and Presidents, but also by ordinary people. The tribute of those people was immediate and very personal. But above all what she meant for millions “ordinary” people. Who had her mostly never met but knew that Diana was a person who wanted to help people who needed it. All over the world were flowers for Diana and at the gates of Buckingham Palace there was a sea of letters, flowers and messages of thanks. Diana was very popular among the people and therefore everyone was so shocked by her death. Got them from all kinds of famous people but also of ordinary people much tribute.

The last major tribute to Diana was the night before her funeral by the British Queen, who for the first time in 38 years a live speech on the television. The next day, she was buried. Ton’s of people had slept in front of the Palace to see the coffin of Diana there and its a final tribute to prove.  And then there were 25 million people of Great Britain and over the rest of the world another 2.5 million that all via television followed. There she was buried on the island in the pond of Althorp. Diana rest there quiet, far away from the press and from tourists. Her 2 sons can visit her there undisturbed and quiet.

Conclusion:

Making this essay was so fun and educational. I learned a lot about the English Royal House and Diana Spencer itself. I found it so interesting that I have watched many videos (mini-documentaries) and about her. I have an extra (long) Chapter made about her death and legacy because I found it very interesting and I find it important to tell what she has achieved in her life.

My opinion of Diana Spencer.

Diana was an amazing princess, because she did not forget where she come from. She helped and cared about poor or ill people, although she was a princess. She believed in herself. Diana had the courage to say the truth about the royal family and to turn her back on them. She did so so so much for others that’s why she will never be forgotten

She had conquered the hearts of the people and when she began to live her own life,  that  was taken her away.

People say her last words were: ”My god, whats happened”.

Princess Diana was only 36 years old.

R.I.P Princess Diana.

I hope you liked reading this. I have done the best I could.
